Wow! There are a ton of places to have games take place going off that map. I wonder how many places will have games based off them?!

I'm not sure I see the resemblance, but I just realized how far Lothering actually is from the Free Marches. The Hawkes have a hell of walk ahead of them. I wonder how that will be shown in game? Maybe Dragon-Flemeth gives them a ride there on her back? :wizard:

That would be great! Unless the characters all sound like Marjolaine *shudders*

That's nothing. I saw the map of Europe sideways the other day and saw the DA:O blood dragon. 8|

Too much Dragon Age for me, methinks.

How come no one has mentioned the fact that the map is HUMONGOUS??? DA:O took place in the bottom right corner of the map entirely and now we're going to take a stroll around 5 times the area size of DA:O?How are they going to explain map travel? Is it still going to take less than a day to travel from one end of the map to the other?

Nah. Bioware is in Edmonton. us Westerner's don't like that part of Canada. no way they intentionally based The Free Marches off of Quebec and/or the Maritimes.

That reminds me - I had a T.A. back at uni who was Canadian, and he once said that he hated Quebec because "it's full of people from Quebec."  It's all very strange to me, this West vs. East thing

Also everyone in Canada hates Toronto.

I guess that is part of the ten-year timespan.
I don't think I ever saw anything official about how log DA:O took. I remember seing some posts where people estimated a year to a year and a half.

Sry i write here for this but I cant write in the other section .. found how to fix the visual map bug in low-end video cards ...
1-use a XP service pack 3 (Windows 7 still gives that bug) download latest video drivers for your video card and update your directX
Ati users disable catalyst AI and tripple buffering
that fixed the map visual bug on 3-4 computer with low-end video cards .. like .. ATI X1300/1550 :)
Hoped I helped ;)

Well... where is all that map space used in DA2? Because I haven't been able move outside a small city all the time I have played this game other than a few small, linear dungeons here and there.
