But they're not just "evil". They're simply not very smart and very short-lived, but they happen to be tough. As a result, they've been snapped up to use as cannon fodder (Blood Pack) or as menial labor (pretty much everyone else). Unsurprisingly, the cannon fodder vorcha have been encouraged in their aggression and trained to shoot people.

I want there to be a moment in ME3 where a batarian saves Shepard.
It'd earn the batarians some respect and knock a few Shepard's arrogance down a knotch.
