Hello, all!

I have two questions. First, is there a way to block selection of the characters that ship with the game and only allow selection of characters that the player has made?

Second, the grey orc and genasi are not selectable options for the player when the module loads. I have all the expansions. Why would this be the case?

T'anks!

Are you using custom content in your Override folder?

Delete the stock bics from your local vault.

The only content in my override folder are RogueDao's Lip Flappers for conversations.

As for the stock characters, were I to share my module, would I have to issue instructions to delete the stock bics? Or, is there a better way?

Well, those will be on anyone's computer. Does it matter?

If you want people to use a specific bic, send it with the module.

Are you completely updated?

I am completely updated.

I had simply hoped to prevent a possible problem that could occur at the beginning of the module. All equipment is removed from the pc, and if any stock character came packaged with specific items, I didn't want them to be destroyed. But I suppose I could simply store them in a chest somewhere to be found later.

I think all they have is basic starting clothing/armor.

After all, isn't that what you start the SP OCs with?

I think, if I recall correctly that premade characters come just as free of gear as personally made ones for the OC. As I have never ever, EVER used a stock character in ANY game if I could make my own, I am not sure if this is accurate. I don't even bother checking.

That said, as a builder who loves to test created environments out from a player perspective, I only use the Arduar Harbor character (cause he's first) and he doesn't have any weapons on him -- much to my dismay when he ran afoul of some lizardmen I had placed once and I was just going through to get a view of how it looked on the ground.
