Okay, so I know I'm a bit of a freak when it comes to Mass Effect but I need a little filling in on a couple of things here.

I've played through Mass Effect 1 & 2 twice now and have started my third journey.  Each with a different character.
1st character John - Soldier (default male Shepard) Imported into ME2 - finished
2nd character Victor - Infiltrator (custom appearance and all) Imported into ME2 - finished
3rd character Rommie - Vanguard (custom female) Still in ME1

I'm not concerned with replaying the same character in ME1 for the extra levels as it's only going to give a bonus starting level in ME2 anyway, right?  Unless I just want to of course.
I know I have asked this before but in light of reading some posts, I have additional questions.

In ME2 if you go back through by importing a character that has finished ME2 and everything there is to do to date, you are able to keep all the weapons you've collected in the first playthrough, correct?

You can only have one bonus power (Geth Shield, Incendiary Grenade, etc.), but if I had points in this bonus power and kept that power, will the points still be invested in that power? Or would the skill points be reset on all my skills like when I imported the first time?

When I got to the Collector Ship, my first character picked up the Reverant LMG from the list.  If I brough him back through for another playthrough he would still have it?  And if so, when he got back there in the 2nd playthrough would he be able to grab the Window anti-material rifle and still keep the Reverant LMG, or would he need to get the Reverant LMG again in order to keep it?
Also, my second character didn't have access to assault rifles and took the Widow.  Would he be able to keep the Widow and take assault rifle training this time too?

It was just recently brought to my attention that I was missing a weapon I didn't know was in the game.  The Geth pulse rifle, but you had to go through a certian mission completely on hardcore or insanity.  To my knowledge it is the only weapon I didn't get on my first playthroughs.  Are there other weapons you can aquire by upping the difficulty or is that the only one?
Also, what about armor pieces?  Are there armor pieces only available on certain difficulties?

My 2nd character got a starting bonus in not only experience but in resources also when I imported him from ME1.  Would bringing a character that has already been through ME2 back through for another playthrough gain this bonus as well?

Correct - but you do lose all upgrades.

You can choose a new bonus power - all points spent in it are reset, only one point will be invested by default.

No more bonus weapons on the DCS - if you took the Rev, you're stuck with the Rev.

The GPR can be acquired when completing Tali's Recruitment mission on Harcore/Insanity (it's in the room you meet Tali) - there are no other items like this one.

You do get resources but less than starting a normal new game; the Par/Ren bars are completely empty on NG+.

You get to keep all weapons except, apparently, the Locust. You'll have to redo Kasumi's mission to get that.

Thanks for the info guys. Doesn't seem like there is much reason to do a second playthrough with the same character in ME2. Seems like there was more reason to replay with the bonus levels in ME1 than what I am seeing for ME2.

Bigger challenge, especially early on, and arguably a more "natural" difficulty scaling.

But no real inventory reasons, no.  You don't have to replay over and over again to hit the level cap or get those elusive sets of krogan Geth Armory armor.

Which would have been kind of cool, minus the elusive part, in ME2.
