Hey Guys, I have Bought the PS3 version a couple of days and just recently installed the game data, and linked my PSN named to EA.  I added the Redeme code for the Cerberus network Add-On and it downloaded the add-on, and went back to the Playsation home screen and installed it.  however when i look at the main screen all there is is the new game and extras menu.  However i see no trace of the comic, i Started a new game, picked male and it started the same way of the 360 verison which i own.  So i was wondering if people are having this problem or if its there and it starts differently in the PS3 version.  (the game starts with Miranda talking to the Ilusive Man, does the comic start after that scene?) also the Cerberus Network Laptop is not open, it only says connneced to the EA Network.

Same here. The other Cerberus Network stuff seems to be added to the game but I can't find how to start the comic.

PLEASE guys read the other post before you start panicking. If you guys have downloaded the DLC without problem, then you're ok to play the game. The laptop does NOT open in the ps3 version. And the comic starts right after the prologue. (it had been posted like  100 times ) So just pick Male/female and after cutscene the Comic shows up automatically. you can check your DLC armor in the ship. So once again if you downloaded the DLC just play and have fun guys

You should be fine - the comic does not kick in until Shepard... has his accident. It's almost as if it's a flashback one has as their life flashes before their eyes.



I noticed the laptop not opening, and I presume that it was disabled as the Cerebus Network News was only going to be running for a short time after the release. It still goes on-line to provide game usage stats to Bioware.

Thanks for the info, pedi007 and huntrrz. I tried finding the information last night, but I guess I didn't dig deep enough!



It can be pretty misleading when you don't see anything about addon content when starting the game, especially with the prompt for the promo code everytime. My friend had played the Xbox version and told me about the laptop and that there was a comic before you start the game, hence my confusion.

Dude, you seem like you can help. I did all that, redeemed code, downloaded the cerb. package, installed it. Now:

- The dragon armor is there
- In the starting menu it still tells me to redeem my code by pressing triangle
and most importantly:
- the comic still does not start after the first part on the nemesis! It still just takes me to the character editor!

Does anyone have the same problem? Any fixes?

You would need to contact the support team to give you a new code.

I have the exact same issue. I downloaded the Cerberus pack, I installed it correctly and it shows up in the "game data" directory. I can access the dragon armor without problems, BUT
the starting menu still asks if I want to redeem a code which I already redeemed.
The comic does not start, no matter what! I tried everything, I even tried to start the game from another account on the same playstation, but no success, the comic just doesn't start.
Miranda says the same stuff at the beginning, about the citadel being saved and the council killed. I wait the end of the prologue until the splash screed of Mass Effect 2, but the comic doesn't start. It continues to the character personalisation without comic....

please, help!!!

I recently bought the Cerberus Network DLC from the PSN Store, and even after successfully downloading AND installing this content, I have been unable to integrate said content into the actual game, starting with the Genesis comic and I even went so far as to verify the absence of Zaeed upon arrival at Omega. Numerous attempts at actual customer support have been in vain and I am about on the verge of calling shenanigans on this issue. Is there anything more to this issue of which I am not aware?

I've downloaded the Cerberus Network DLC (the promo code came with my copy of ME2...) and when I try and install it I get error code 80029563.

Should I give up on installing this for now or what?

try download it again...I have the same problem but with the second download it fix it

How do you know if the redeem code works? I installed the DLC but does it tell me at all if there is some new content or do I find it once I start the Game?
