I can view 2da files in the toolset, but is there any way of creating them? I want to create a 2da file called cls_bsplvldradis for RDDs so they can gain a spell progression similar to Eldritch Knights (and one for AAs as well), mainly because I don't see a point in requiring a prestige class to be able to cast arcane spells without improving said arcane spells.

Also, how do I edit the spells.2da to make Divine Power persistable? Yes, I'm cheating my ass off, but it makes it more fun for me, and isn't that what the game ultimately is all about, having fun?

A 2DA file is just a text file with some specific formatting rules. You can copy an existing one and then edit it with Notepad. There are also 2da editors available on the vault.

I created the 2da file, but how do I link it to the dragon disciple?

And is it possible to create/modify a 2da file to improve bardsong with level? I'd love for my 9 Fighter (maybe Paladin)/2 Bard/ 9 AA/10 RDD to have a good bardsong...

You would be much better off asking these sorts of questions in the Scripting Forums and possibly the Custom Content forums as this sort of change you're indicating really falls under either or both of these categories of effort. And you'd get much more topical responses on the whole, I'd wager.

You can load 2DAs via NWScript

-or-

If you're simply building off an existing class template, in some cases 2DA files are referenced from other 2DAs and you'd simply modify these for your own versions.

It just depends on whether you are customizing something that already exists or trying to do something completely new. The latter will require more work and understanding on your part, and very likely scripting chops.
