I want to play Mass Effect 1 before playing Mass Effect 2 on my PS3. Are there a lot of frame rate issues or other bugs in Mass Effect 1 for the Xbox. Also, how are the graphics compared to Mass Effect 2? Would appreciate someones advice.
Mass Effect 1 question.

The graphics arent as hi-res as they are on ME2, and look a touch grainy.
As for the Xbox specific bugs or framerate issues, you can either have a quick browse of the forum, or wait till an Xbox player gets around to reading this.

ME1 was the exclusive game for the xBox360 launch, it was designed to push the then un-named console's graphics to the max. My (only) frame rate problem is with the Rachni in the mine on exiting the mine, but lately it has been working just fine (who knows!).
Why would you play ME1 on the Xbox and ME2 on the PS3? I am not aware of any way to copy/transfer the same game data. The PS3 version seems to be just a port, and if you read some of the new PS3 comments in the PS3 tech forum, then again why play the game on 2 different consoles? The graphics of ME2 on the PS3 do not seem to be any better than the Xbox, just a little different. And the frame rate for ME2 is 30fps on BOTH consoles. ME1 for Xbox360 is 1080i, ME2 is 720p, so I'm not sure what people are talking about. They have different engines, ME1 = first gen, ME2 newer updated engine not compatible with ME1 thus the import program (which works sorta). And I only have an Xbox with no intention of buying a PS3.

He wants to play ME1, and Xbox 360 or PC are the only ways he can play it, so he decided he would play on the 360. Simple as that.

I just wanted to play Mass Effect 1 to better understand Mass Effect 2. The comic is not enough for me. I am also reading the book.
