Why they should NOT reveal Tali or ANY Quarian...EVER

I know Wiki says Quarians have 3 toes , but I've only ever seen 2 in concept art and even in the DLC costume. That and the stance which makes them look like bi-ped horses, or Satyrs (compare a picture of a Quarian to a Satyr and you will see what I mean). Then having pointy ears and looking like "space elves" would not suprise me in the least.

Not the best example but it's suprisingly difficult to find one with clothes on... You can still see the Quarian stance though and if you elongated the hoof into a foot with two toes it would look very similiar.
What really bugged me is that we are supposed to be Shepard in the game so we should see and know what he knows.

Not that I hate Tali or Tali fans, it would just be the most epic troll ever and I'd be totally unable to resist it if I was in charge.
Most likely they won't show it at all though.

On another point, if BW do decide to reveal the quarian features, I can't imagine Tali's gonna look good. When humans design sci fi robots we tend to do so in our own image (2 legs, 2 arms, 2 eyes, nose, mouth etc". Surely the quarians would do the same, and they came up with the geth..

Yeah whenever these threads crop up I always register my vote for never having the quarian face revealed. It would go down as one of the all time great BW decisions imo. Leave it up to the users imagination. I am a Tali lover by the way.

The body structure is very Quarian. But faces are tough to do. As labour/expendables they never needed faces in the first place. They probably built the bodies that way so the Geth could do the same things a Quarian could without having to resesign tools.
If you look at human robotics the one place they all fail is making a good face.

I think the only reason they didn't show it in ME2 is because they were too afraid to commit to any specific design just yet, like they did with a lot of other things, *cough* human/new alien council *cough*

As for whoever it was complaining about Spock's ears, if you see Nimoy in anything he did before Star Trek, his ears are naturally a little pointy. They just exaggerated them for the series.
Its funny, though.... if aliens are too human-like, people complain 'that cannot be!', but if they are different in ways that happen to make them similar to any mythological race, there is the same outcry, even though they are less human in such cases.
Imagining something doesn't make it impossible, lol. Its development and its existance are completely independant of any preconceptions about probabilities.

Don't really feel emotionally invested in this event. Tali is cool just they way she is.

And look at one of the most famous reveals around there, look at how it turned out:
Fearful villain with a face we never really see:

Turns out he is actually like:

Do you really want this?

I do agree that it would be a mistake to reveal them. It adds to their mistery, it's an important characteristic.

We also went from "...no...it's because I'm so in love with you" to "You don't know the POWUH..."
Anakin should've at least been cool and had a deep voice and been about 6'5" and solidly built. Then the DV suit would only have to add 2" of height instead of 6".

Yeah because they totally didn't need to add anything to his body after both his legs got melted off. They totally remade him exactly as tall he was....
Darth Vader: *waking up*
Hencemen: "My lord, we have failed, he is 6 inches too tall!
Darth Sidious: "What?! But we don't have the equipment to redo the operations! You foools!!! *lightning*

It's not like Shepard, for the entire time of the ME trilogy, could logically go without seeing what a Quarian looks like either in person, in a magazine, on the extranet, etc.
If Shepard is supposed to be OUR Shepard, then we should be able to have the option of seeing a Quarian without a suit, if we so choose.

Every other people did for the last three hundred century, so I don't see why Shepard couldn't do it.Randy_Mac wrote...

That is never stated. It is only assumed since Quarians had to start wearing their suits.
The codex even states that Quarians can be found posing in Fornax.
Also, I'm pretty sure it's safe to assume there are many other non-Quarian species having sexual relations, such as Shepard did with Tali, with Quarians.
