I'm wondering... if I buy a pre-owned Dragon Age: Origins Ultimate Edition game, will I be able to play the DLC that is included with it? Or is the DLC on the Ultimate Edition like a one-time code where, if you use it on one PS3, you won't be able to use it on another?

I want to be sure that I'll be able to play the DLC before I purchase it preowned, otherwise, I will have wasted my money. ^ ^;

You don't even have to have your system connected to the internet to play the game, so there is 0 need for activation of anything on PS3 AT ALL. So yes I would assume you'll be just fine with preowned. There are no codes to activate anything on console.

As far as I know you will be fine, ALL the DLC is on the disc all you have to do is install, there are NO redemption codes in the PS3 version unlike the PC which needs the code to install.

Alright, thanks for your help guys. One last question though. I'm playing the original Dragon Age Origins right now, not the UE. I attempted to play someone's UE save file with my Dragon Age Origins game (the non-UE one) and when he attempted to load his save file, it was corrupted.

My question is, will I be able to play the current save files that I have right now on the UE without any problems? Or will I have to start a new game?

On the PS3 the saves are normally copy protected, however playing your own save should work just fine as long as the UE you have is the same region i.e both US/region 1 copys, None of my save data transferred/worked as I had the AUS edition in Origins and then bought the US in UE.

Ah alright. So why was my friend's save data corrupted when he tried to play Origins (original) after starting the game on UE? They were both from the same region. I'm guessing it's because Origins doesn't allow UE save files due to the DLC that it has...
