I love how people are talking about the ending of a game in a section that clearly states in caps: (NO SPOILERS ALLOWED)

It is kind of hard to talk about if ME2 was needed or not when you can't talk about anything about the game....

When some people are out of arguments, they cite how many other people (allegedly) share their opinion. As if that's any indication about the actual quality of the product.

To be honest story wise me2 was more about characters and did not advance story.

You could skip me2 to me3 and know every thing that is going on that how little me2 does for me series story.

It felt like that game you did not need to play.

Tell you what, junior. You import an ME1 game into ME3 and tell me if it works.

Why should we do that junior? PS3 players don't even have ME1, they sure as hell can't even try to do that...

I'd lol hard if you actually could import from ME1 to ME3 and it really didn't change a damn thing. It'd be hilarious.

Not saying me2 was bad game. It was alot better than first in every way but story.

This thread is pointless.
If you all own and enjoy ME2, what's the point in arguing about it? Of course ME3 is going to lead on from where ME2 left off... there are far too many characters that people love for them to be simply shoved aside.
Also, before anyone mentions Ash/Kaidan.. just wait for the next DLC.

I never understood this logic "You liked it, so you shouldn't have any sort of criticism! That's just pointless!"

I think you've misunderstood the meaning there a little... constructive criticism and heated arguments are two very different things, I personally think this thread has gone beyond the point at which it remains relevant.

No. It's actually not that hard. There's another forum specifically dedicated to discussions and spoilers.

Does your father have a saying for ignoring blatant flaws in society that are bound to spell its demise, Durgon?

Oddly enough yes but far too many to go into detail. Also wrapped up in a nice helping of communist redoric.
