It is kind of hard to talk about if ME2 was needed or not when you can't talk about anything about the game....

You could skip me2 to me3 and know every thing that is going on that how little me2 does for me series story.

Tell you what, junior. You import an ME1 game into ME3 and tell me if it works.

Not saying me2 was bad game. It was alot better than first in every way but story.
