How many "supposed" AAA games didn't show more than 90 seconds......

Alright. So what would we like then? How can this be resolved to your satisfaction? Instead of just complaining about a general lack of information, what exactly do you want to see, and when do you want to see it? Be specific. Video subject matter, length of video, and the dates you want them released.
Just release a narrated walkthrough of a small portion of the game which shows off all (or most) of the game's systems and highlights the changes they keep talking about. Like they did with their Origins walkthrough videos narrated by Dan Tudge.
Show off the new dialogue system and explain it, maybe show an example of a friendly version of dialogue versus a rival version of the same dialogue. Show off the new distinctions between rogue, warrior and mage. I don't mind that they don't show off the companions a ton, but small companion trailers like they had for Origins would be nice to give an idea of what they'll be like, in broad strokes. Or even trailers that show off the new locales. Or even just a weekly lore/concept art update on a regular basis on the site- not unlike how TOR releases some new lore tidbit like cloclwork every Friday. The podcasts were nice too while they lasted. Or even with Awakening, they had that live playthrough on Xfire I think where the devs played sections of the game and answered questions.
Its not the same situation as Origins, being a new IP and all but with Origins they had tons of walkthrough videos out in October/November 2008, back when Origins was still slated to come out in March 09.
With DA2, we know more and have seen more about the preorder bonuses and the DLC than we do the actual game.

Thats just not true though- ME2 and DAO both a comparative boatload of videos and info out about 1.5-2 months prior to launch.
I'm expecting the marketing hype to fully pick up one month prior to release and maybe with some EA sanctioned money sink of a Super Bowl ad or something. But still, DA2's marketing has been strange to say the least.

I guess I missed all of it, since I never found any combat videos when I looked around for DAO or ME2 information. I wasn't sitting at the news drip, desperately hoping for information, but I never found any until close to launch.

DAO was actually postponed about half a hear due to console ports, so it is a bit different situation than now.

There were videos prior to Origins' launch showing off the combat, but it was sort of secondary to the characters performing said combat. That said, those videos still showed more of the combat mechanics and nuances than the combat vid for DAII.

As I recall, almost every single one of DAO's videos were character, location, or Origins videos. And I'm not finding any combat walkthroughs on the DAO site.
The first video devoted exclusively to combat footage is from October 2008, 13 months before release:
The first in-depth combat tutorial was released with German voice-over on August 4th 2009 (3 months before release):

My point is, be patient. Can you picture what would happen if I were to bombard the local NWS office day after day with phone calls/e-mails/in person comments like "Where's the snow? Is it coming? I want the snow! I want it NOW! Lots of it! Gimme, gimme!" (<-- That's not aimed directly at you per se, more so at other threads I've seen over the weeks where the posters were far more demanding.) I'd probably get a few glares and then--wait for it--a boot to the head. I actually like my head the way it is, thankyouverymuch!
TL;DR Crowd: Be patient and rewards are sure to follow. Cookies, too! No cake, though. I hear the cake is a lie.

If I am interested in a game, I buy it, and if it is good, it stays on my system, if I don't like it, I delete it and put it away.

Some stuff
This has nothing to do with patience for something you can't wait for.
Instead, this has to do with some being uncertain about a product, and being unable to decide(or even worried), due to the lack of information available.

Eh. The first one doesn't strike me as a gameplay video. You just seem them doing a bunch of moves from scene-to-scene. If that's what the OP wants, great, I guess, but when I think gameplay video, I think pretty much of watching the demo.
The second one, however, does.

Both the dev vids show tons of gameplay. I think that some people are forgetting that gameplay doesn't just mean cmobat.
I guess you and I have different definitions of "tons".
I'd like to see some companion vids, like we saw for DAO - similar to what they gave us for Seb.
I'd like to see the dialogue wheel in action - through a conversation, with example of friendly v rival. Not the 3 second snip that was in the dev diary vid (I think that's the one with Hawke telling Carver to shut up).
Fact - there's not much video information out there.
Opinion - it either bothers people, or not.

I avoided it like the plague. I'm quite happy DA2 has released very little content - it means I can hang around on this forum instead of avoid it like the plague months prior to release like ME2, where the developers for whatever reason thought it was a good idea to spoil 60% of their game.
It's why I can't really follow the Witcher 2, because essentially every one of their releases spoils content.

To show off the story, they have to release some story bits. I'm glad they haven't over done it in DA2 like they did with ME2.
If they showed more combat, that might put some people at ease, but we don't need anymore of the story.

There are features, though, that are non-story but still spoil the story. Take the prison break sequence from the Witcher 2. The developers wanted to use that sequence to show (I believe) the variability of options in the game. Now, I haven't seen it because I don't want that sequence spoiled for me when I play it.
But the developers don't have to want to feature the story to spoil it when showing content.

I suppose; I think that the combat is basically similar enough to DA:O from what we saw in the combat video that we don't really need more combat content.

I have no idea but I assume because most of it will be spoilers. In Origins, for example, watching all the character videos and whatnot were incredibly spoilerific and gave away plenty of stuff. I think Gaider or one of the other writers said that they did not approve of how that was done. As a result, even the Dev Diary Story for DA2 really did not tell us much of anything new about the story which is good for the fact that you won't be spoiled but bad that it leaves you wanting more...and we are a rabid fanbase so wanting more usually lead to "storm Bioware HQ and burn them" rather than "Oh, gee I cannot wait until this game comes out".
I've already learned more spoilers about DA2 than I wish I had. Mainly about how Hawke's siblings are handled.

Pretty much. Prior to release you have a group of fixture players who follow Bioware's games as they develop (these groups do pick up new fans, which is great). Then you've got a rotating cast of people who stop in just to complain and cause trouble.
Once the game is released there will be an influx of middle ground players who just want to ask questions and get help or talk about what they are enjoying.
