I got this game on Saturday and upon openning it I notice there was no game guide inside, Just a promo code and a leafet, I was wondering if there was suppose to be a manual or not?
My son has played this game on the xbox360 so he has been giving me some information like scanning planing planets etc.
Also how do i see the gun stats in the game been at all the weapon lockers but no joy so far.

guns don't have any visible stats, you can equip them to see ammo differences which give you a good idea of how strong they are, less ammo = more power usually, but really you just have to read the description to see the differences.
as for the no manual, there should have been a fold out that said the game manual is now on disc only (which i thing is dumb, gimme a real manual please.) under the extras in the options.

My issue with the game manual is not that is on the disc at all, but that you can not view it in-game, meaning you have to save, exit to main menu, open extras and view game manual that way. Why was it not put into the in-game menu, for quick reference?

Fully agree, definitely not very user friendly method of looking something up. Maybe they're trying to discourage you from knowing too much.
