I have set up a project for playtesting purposes and to increase interest (I hope) in The Last Days of the Raven.

What is the lag on uploading an image and having it appear in the project folder?

The process of uploading seems simple enough but the images I upload do not appear there.
If there is a long lag then I have the same image a dozen times about to appear in my project gallery Posted Image.

Hope I can delete them later.

I had the same issue and uploaded a number of screen shots too. You can delete the extras.

Thanks, I guess lack of patience is the only problem I have :)

I uploaded a bunch to my project the other day. They posted immediately for me.

Chaulk it up to another forums SNAFU I guess.

Am I missing something here or just being a bit dull.

24 hours and no pics nor do recent attempts put a picture up work. The latest action list is a string of PJ156 uploaded an image but no images appear in the gallery.

Currently I am

selecting - gallery tab
select - add new photos
select - add files
select a jpeg of 240 KB (less than the 250 stated maximum)
select - upload selected files.

I get a message saying files uploaded successfully.

That should be it, there is no confirm button or other button to select so I close that window. Still no files in the gallery.

Hmmm, someone please point out the obvious thing I am doing wrong I don't mind feeling stupid half as much as I mind not being able to upload any images Posted Image.

[edit] I just tried changing permissions on uploading to the gallery but to no avail.

I know with profile pictures it sometimes takes a certain number of views of your profile page to trigger the picture showing up so I went to look around on the project page to see if another view would help. That is about the extent of my usefulness though.

Oddly, your attempts to upload are showing up on your profile.

Thanks for the help Quixal - my profile does indeed mirror my frustration.

I just opened a new test project to try to upload to that with a different jpeg image (smaller) it has not worked yet.

I'm doing something dumb, I must be; but I just can't see what it is.

That's very strange PJ156. I wish I knew what the heck was going on. I'm just as noobish as anyone else on these forums and most of my questions in the specific fora for that (private for us moderators) tend to go unanswered (of course, I haven't asked this specific question, so...)

I'll see if I can dig something up for you.

Thanks DNO,

I thought to try another file extension but jpg is the only one that comes down tot the 250 limit.

Still no joy.

Curious, I tried adding a pic to my project. It showed up immediately. Did you try uploading a .JPG file, another forum I visit allows .jpg but not .JPG (yes, I know...)

Mine are out of paint.net. They show up as .jpg.

I shall have a play. Perhaps the extension is case sensitive. the instructions say jpg files though.

Edit - My icon picture uploaded okay clearly. That was instant Hmmmm. but not to the gallery ...

I have to report that I wasn't able to find one single frickin' thing that related to your issue in all the searching I did. The FAQ, the site help, the questions in all sorts of places and not even a steady diet of varied Google searches could bring up a specific issue that might allow me to answer this for you. Frustrating.

I am truly sorry I have failed you so completely.

Thank you for your time DNO. It is much appreciated.

I have tried various ways of doing this now including resorting to trying another PC.

Either I'm doing something really dumb or cyberspace hates me. I suspect the former.

Though judging by the number of trojans I have been hit by in the last two weeks it might be the latter. Big cheers for Malwarebytes.
