Did anyone not pursue a romance in ME2 at all? The way i see it that's the only way anyone truly stayed loyal. Otherwise it's pretty easy not to cheat, just roll another character with no ME1 relationship, then go nuts!

I can just imagine that as the new excuse for cheating husbands. "I" didn't cheat, but my Renegade and Paragade personalities did.

edit: The real question, would you have stayed loyal if you knew you could only have 1 playthrough?

Meh, on first playthrough I cheated on Liara with Garrus

When I play ME1  I always romance Kaidan because I can´t help myself

But until a VS DLC or ME3  comes out I will always turn to Thane in ME2.

if you romance a me2 li and try to re romance liara after doing her in me1, shes something like shep and her will get back together or whatever, i wanna see miranda v liara in me3

And yes, I did not pursue a romance in ME2 at all.

I have 2 different games: one where I stayed loyal to ashley, and one where I had no me1 romance and pursued a new one with Miranda. So technically I've stayed loyal.

I didn't romance anyone in ME1 (and sacrificed ashely as maleshep just in case it accidentally got triggered for my 'import' playthrough).

I didn't romance anyone in ME2 either.

So I guess technically I stayed loyal.

I stayed loyal to ash on my first playtrough, but that was just because I hadn't talked enough to Miranda to romance her. So I stayed loyal by accident, Yay!

What I don't understand is, Bioware said there will be "serious consequences" in ME 3 if you cheat on you LI in ME 2, but with LotSB you get to rectify your situation if you did i.e, romanced Liara in ME 1, cheated on her in ME 2, and made up with her in LotSB.



So how can there be consequences if you get the choice to rekindle your relationship with your LI from ME 1? Don't know how it works for people that chose Ashley/Kaidan, unless of course they release DLC pertaining to them.

As the options for FemShep weren't even the teeniest tinyest bit appealing in any way shape or form, it was ****** easy to stay loyal to Liara.

Think of it this way, going that course, you ended up two-timing the ME2 romance, so there's still some damage control there.

I've done playthroughs where I got with the ME2 romances, mostly out of curiosity and trying something new. ManShep's romances pretty much sucked in the second though and at the end of the day, Ashley is still my favorite romance so I'll be sticking it out with her.

its not 2 years for Shep, its only like a month or so.  even with Horizon and stonewalling, I just couldn't see my canon Shep at least recovering that fast and jumping straight into another relationship. since my canon male Shep is all about Liara, there won't even be rebound sex with Jack.

I'm tempted though to create a playthrough with Ashley alive and then romance Jack - that should make for a real fun catfight

No, you aren't.  Of my two main ME1 Sheps, one did not move onto a ME2 romance and the other had no romance interest.

I may have to play a character that chases both Ashley and Miranda though; having those two angry at Shep might be scarier than a reaper encounter.
