I stayed loyal to Liara, and was a bit annoyed she played a bit part.

The LotSB dlc was worth the cash for me as i could continue the romance.

My Soldier stayed loyal to Ash. Both my Man and Fem Shep Adepts stayed loyal to Liara. My Fem Shep Sentinel stayed loyal to Kaidan. Every other playthrough had a new ME2 LI.

First playthrough stayed loyal. Second playthrough romanced with Tali. Third playthrough romanced with Miranda, but continued realtionhip with Liara (no clue how that works. For my fourth ultimate playthrough I'm going to stay loyal

Nope. After the nth play through, I still don't have the paramour achievement in ME2 and not planning to get one.

You aren't alone. I have several loyal Shepards (as well as some not so loyal). My main Shep is loyal to Liara.

Nope, you're not the only one. I stayed loyal to Ashley and to Liara both. As of yet, I have not done any of the ME2 romances although I've completed ME2 6 diff't Shepards.

However on one playthrough I imported a Shepard who didn't romance anyone and then romanced Tali just to get the achievement.

I have one main Shepard I've beaten ME2 with three times, and I've been single for all of them, since she romanced Kaidan in the first game and would like to reunite in the third. I have other characters, and I'm close to beating it again with another character, but that's another loyal Shepard. I've said I'll try the ME2 romances after I beat ME3, but none of them are calling to me, honestly, when I was curious about them, I checked them out on YouTube.

 All my femSheps including my "canon" Shep are loyal to Kaidan. I tried making one single or go after Liara but I couldn't, I mean, she couldn't resist Kaidan. >.>

On my main Shep I am loyal to Liara. However, on my first playthrough, which was a bit of a test run, I cheated on Ashley with Miranda.

I have yet to get the Paramour achievement and I plan on never getting it.

I stayed loyal to Ashley. What can I say? I love tough women.



That said I've only played Mass Effect 2 three times and on the third I did romance Jack, but that was one throwaway playthrough and the vast majority of my playthroughs I will have stayed loyal to Ash.

Did anyone not pursue a romance in ME2 at all? The way i see it that's the only way anyone truly stayed loyal. Otherwise it's pretty easy not to cheat, just roll another character with no ME1 relationship, then go nuts!

I can just imagine that as the new excuse for cheating husbands. "I" didn't cheat, but my Renegade and Paragade personalities did.

edit: The real question, would you have stayed loyal if you knew you could only have 1 playthrough?

In all my play throughs of ME2 I've stayed loyal to Kaidan.

On my 10th, 11th, 12th, and 13th playthrough. Only cheated once so far (one FemShep dumped Kaidan for Jacob). Others have stayed loyal or picked up an ME2 romance. One though is waiting on ME3's romances. Though my 12th and 13th runs are going to cheat on Liara and Ashley respectively. Need to mix things up.

Never even had a ME1 romance. Wanted Tali, didnt get her then, so stayed single. Not that I didnt like Ashley or Liara of course, I just liked them better as friends.



I liked romance better in ME2. Still needs some improvement though!

Regarding male sheps, my renegade one stayed loyal to Liara (and he's a genocidal human advocate, go figure....) and my paragon shep couldn't resist Miranda's charm ... so he cheated Liara and she reminded me it very well on shadow broker DLC LOL.



Now, I have to create a fem shepard yet but she won't have a romance with alenko, but I'm planning her a future with a certain turian....

Kaidan all the time. The others just didn't appeal to my FemShep the way he did, and some were just downright unappealing, like Jacob.
