  I apologize if this is a repost, but I wanted to ask a couple of questions that are confusing me. First of all, my goal is to add points for attributes, skills, and spells to my character, which is currently in play. It was recommended to me to use the respec mod, but 1) I'm not sure respecs are the same as just adding points and 2) I am only a bit of the way into the game and would like to edit my character now.

  My other question is this: will the toolset take away any DLC or irreperably break the game if I just edit stats? I am very much a novice with the toolset and have read of some problems fixed by remaming/erasing a directory.
