Returning Squad:



1. Commander Shepard- obviously.

2. Garrus- My Infiltrator Shepard's bro, sniper buddy and protege.

3. Legion- Emotionless robot enforcer/sniper/hacker? Yes, please.

4. Liara- My Shepard's love interest and generally awesome biotic.

5. Mordin- wouldn't take him into the field very much, but would definetly have him as Chief Scientist

6. Thane- Love the character, and there's a lack of biotics in the team.

7. Kasumi- My own personal thief/ninja? Too cool to pass up.

8. Zaeed- Terrible leader by all accounts, but very hard to kill and likeable enough.

9. Miranda- Lack of biotics in the squad, arrogant and flawed but an interesting character.



New Squadmates:



10. Big Ben (Sniper from the trailer)- Because anyone who's managed to survive a Reaper invasion for a week in a half-ruined clocktower without getting indoctrinated deserves his place.

11. Captain Kirrahe- For banter with Mordin, epic speeches, and fufilment of his ME1 wish to work with Shepard again.

12. Anderson- Because he's been jerked around for the entirity of the series up until now. Give him the chance to finally get some respect by helping us save the galaxy from extinction.

New squaddies:
Kal'Reeger- Because he's awesome and the party needs a new Quarian mascot.
Aria T'Loak- Because she's also awesome and I want a Aria - Wrex reunion.
Captain Anderson - To keep the awesomness theme going, he's sat out two games now and I think he's about ready to get back into the action.
Female Turian - Replace Garrus as our resident Turian plus just curiousity on my part.

*I like Garrus and Tali... just think they should be doing other things come ME3.

I'm going to do top 12 because I think that's more realistic than 14 or 15. These aren't in any specific order either, just want to see em by my Shepards side.

Actually I just would like to have,

- Garrus
- Liara
- Wrex (although I'll prefer him to unite and lead the Krogans)
- Tali
- Mordin
- Kasumi

that's all, even though I found every Squadmember in ME1+2 interesting. I liked them all - some more, some less of course.

What I would like to see for ME3, if there would be several (16+) possible characters joining your team, but due to your decisions (in ME1, 2 and 3) some might not join your cause. So the average squad consists of 8 - 12 members, not more.

Ashley - really like her character
Samara - There is probably a reason she hasnt left the ship even if you continue playing after the main plot. Besides we need a Biotic power house.
Thane
Garrus - For style points
Tali
Liara - just because she is Liara... obviously But I doubt she will be a squad member due to her position as the shadow broker
Maybe a Batarian.. I think its time for a Batarian squad member.

For the most part I just couldnt care less for the Kaiden and Jacob characters.

Also to the original poster: 14 squad members are too much if you ask me. 10 seems ok.
