I actualy wonder if the Reapers actually wait in dark space, or do they go round every galaxy wiping everyone out and is just this galaxies turn. Maybe they are getting bored and want to build Mass relays to every galaxy just to save travel time?

They are not all robot they are partially organic, so the organic part must be bored out their minds when they only get to do something every 50 000 years, so they might as well go to other galaxies?... just sayin'!

Yeah, RL  news is tough to watch overall let alone the events outside Moscow today.

As for that massacre scene in MW2, I pretty much boycotted when I saw my roommate playing it and saw him shooting everyone in sight during that part.  I know it's just a game but for me it was a bit much.

Yeah, but I'm still trying to find reason why I can't stand that sadistic killing in that game while in any GTA game I enjoy to massacre people in many creative ways.

Seems to be a trend to go "we've dismissed these claims" towards humans. Damned aliens...

Yeah, except Liara made similar claims and it was also dismissed...probably by the same scientist.

Maybe someone's plagiarizing her work? lol

Games like GTA and Saints Row are a bit more.... like Looney Tunes, I guess.  The games aren't serious or overly realistic.  MW2 is brutally realistic.

it tries to be... but it fails to be. but credit is due.. it gave it a good go.

Closest there is is something like operation flashpoint Dragon rising... although that game sucks. That! is realism.

you dont switch weaponry on the fly like some weird superman, takes time to take out your rpg and line up a shot.

Why am I not suprised a human discovers something before anyone else and they just dismiss it. I hope that Asari's in the next DLC so we cna smack her as part of a paragon interupt.

Sorry to burst your bubble all you Cerberus Flunkies but there was a young Asari archaeologist who postulated that there was a cycle of extinction and that the Protheans were just the most recent extinction. She got out of those studies a couple years ago after having her research ignored due to the Asari ageist tendency to ignore the ideas of the young.

What I found most interesting about this CDN is that while most mass effect relays are of course very old, a small fraction of them is apparently only 50.000 years old. It would appear that the Reapers are expanding the relay network with each cycle.

Or they occasionally have to replace some.

thats not what is says, they date it my the age of the dust, there is more dust than should be for 50k years, ****** doesbnt say they are creating new relays

So CDN ends with a chuckle.

Doesn't Cerberus know the truth about the Reapers, though? It seems like this report is less news and more mockery.

I guess the joke is with the galactic press.

I really like how the asari dissmiss a humans findings out of the fact that they can't find evidence of the species that "made the relays."

Thats the problem with the asari when a new idea (or not so new as the CDN pointed out) they react negitivley.

You mean the young asari who tells Shepard she has absolutely no evidence of this and it is 100% her personal belief? That asari?

To be fair that can be a problem with real life archaeologists and historians. Some of them really don't like it when new ideas come and blow away the beliefs that they have held their entire career.

then they arnt real scientists, real scientists welcome change as long as those theories are backed up, or follow a logical path

She doesn't say she has no evidence, she says she doesn't have enough evidence. It's a hypothesis based on sketchy, minimal data; Enough to form the hypothesis, but not enough to prove it under peer review.
