If they're going to limit it to only Dr Pepper then no thanks. Encouraging gamers to purchase soft drink isn't something I can agree with.

Why not? Most soft drinks are healthier and more nutritious than tea, coffee, juice or tap water.

How about Aquafina?

It's a pepsi product, so I don't mind this route either.

I seriously do not understand you health freaks. Live a little once in a while. Geeze. Life's too short to waste on all this "healthy food diet" jazz, in my opinion.

Not that I have anything against you being picky about what you consume, but when people tell me what I can and can not consume, then I have something against it. I get sick and tired of my sister doing it. I don't need it from other people too. I do what I want, period. My life is my own. Only person who can tell me what to do is my fiancee'.

It's cool, man. If you want to be fat and have rotten teeth that's your deal. :police:

On a more serious note though, if you live outside the countries where the promotion is active or you just don't like Dr Pepper, check the internet for codes to add to your account. It worked last time.

So long as they branched out to another soda brand I honestly wouldn't mind seeing a return of the soda DLC. Dr. Pepper is alright when there is absolutely nothing else available to soothe your soda craving, but it's definitely one of my least favorite products on the market.

As for putting the codes on healthier options, I don't see why not either. *shrug* They'd get more money if they branched out to several different brands from the same company as then the offer would appeal to more people.

Was that comment really necessary?

On-topic: If a bottled water option was included I would have no problems with a promotion like this.

I really hate it when people badger me with their health food crap. It's as bad as religious people badgering me with their religious beliefs, saying **** like, "You shall go to hell if you do not worship God!" ....It's ridiculous and stupid. Let me live my own life, let me have my own beliefs. Keep that religious and health food crap to yourself.

Before I let that health food bring me down, I'll die with my Dr. Pepper in my hand.

Who the hell cares? Pay the $1.29 for a bottle and get the code and dump the soda if you are so disinclined to drink the soda. Just look at it as real world DLC.

That said, anyone who drinks that malted battery acid called pepsi doesn't deserve to get cool armor or weapons. :)

Or pay nothing and just grab the codes off the net.

Dr. Pepper is hands down my favorite soda. It's superb! People that say it's bad need to get their taste buds checked out! :P

And this is why people don't like the "health police".

Totally uncalled for.

They haven't announced anything as of yet. Personally I would prefer a Pepsi promo....I don't really care for Dr. Pepper, I like pepsi more. I DESPISE Coca Cola too. Pepsi all the way for me. Or Mountain Dew when I need caffeine

Off-topic, but great fun while it lasts.  I dislike Coke ~~ far too sweet; Dr. Pepper is also somewhat too sweet.  I've been a Pepsi drinker since before the "live taste test" advertisements, and drank 7-Up or Sprite before that.  Now, I drink Diet Pepsi mostly, but I didn't have to worry above bloating up to 210 - 230 pounds in no time at all when I don't watch what I eat, until just the last few years.

Has anyone noticed how seldom any other drinks besides alcoholic ones are ever available in the taverns in our games, and wondered why that was?

Because water was unsanitary, and you got sick from drinking it, unless you mixed it with wine, and allowed the alcohol a little time to kill the bugs . .

Now, how was that Segue'?

Stating a preference for avoiding certain beverages is the same as being "health police" who are telling people how to live and what to consume, right? :police:

Nope - making childish and insulting comments about what others choose to do is being the "health police".  Posted Image

Drop the innocent act, being preachy about how unhealthy someone else's dietary choices is just asking for (unneeded) drama.

That's not making a judgement about people's decisions and it wasn't directed at anyone in particular.
