I keep hearing that, but I've never seen an official female Warden trailer or photo. Now, I'm curious. Anyone got a link?

Thanks, but I've seen that. Cool as it is, it's not what I was looking for. I keep hearing about an official BW trailer or photo or something of the female Warden form DA:O, but I've never seen it.
But thanks anyway.

So, will there be a dev diary or a clip or something, anything, where we can hear Lady Hawke's voice? That would be more exciting than Legends closed beta or DRM. For us folks who have been waiting and waiting. And told that we'd hear her before February.
I thought we'd hear her voice if Laidlaw got his way. Maybe he didn't...

Ah. Well, if they did have one, they have hidden it very well. I would like that link too.JamieCOTC wrote...

Even a thirty second clip of animated Lady Hawke talking would make me very satisfied, especially after the huge anticlimax we all received today.
Sigh. I know it's only a month away, but I've been asking for a little love for Lady Hawke from the day the game was announced...and while the single screenshot was more than we've ever gotten from Mass Effect marketing, it's far less than what we saw of female versions of the Warden in DA:O marketing. Is this issue really getting worse instead of better?

The first big article about Dragon Age wasin a magazine that came with the female PC mage art on the cover. She's that one white hair mage you may have seen before. She's on install screen, I think. There was screenshots early on with a female PC. The mage and city elf trailers had female PC.
Some time later they got obsessed with that generic brown hair dude though.

There wasn't an "official" female Warden video, but I think back then they actually wanted my money, and it wasn't a big deal or "confusing" to show off different versions of the main character. Here's the Zevran trailer:
Here's one about the City Elf origin:
And I loved the posters they made for the various origins, which featured female versions:

Isn't it CRAZY that DA:O managed to be Bioware's best selling game ever, DESPITE all these images of female main characters??? How could that be???

This is like getting a pair of socks for christmas.
A Lady Hawke video clip with her speaking in it would make the day better.

If anything, this approach seems to be making it more confusing for prospective players. Every so often, someone who has only followed DA2 casually makes a post complaining that they can't play a female character, or thinking that there is no customisation at all.

Cool. Thanks! I remember the Mage and the Elf, but never saw the drawf. I recall the elf girl being actually kind of scary and I was really psyched to play her.

What I keep wondering is why are they building more hype for a stupid Facebook game than the actual game that they're trying to sell? I suppose they're hoping that people who loved Origins enough would buy DA2. If I hadn't played Origins, I wouldn't be remotely interested in DA2 right now tbh.
Actually, that's what the stupid facebook game is for. It looks to me like a viral marketing ploy to get the facebook community buzzing about the DA2. It may not mention DA2 all that much, but there are rewards that one can use in DA2 and it does promote word of mouth buzz about the product, the single best form of advertising.

Probably at or around the release date. I'd love for it to be earlier (now would be nice), but holding our breaths would probably be a bad plan.
And not to be too much of a Polly Pessimist, it might be best not to treat the announced release date as set in stone. Dragon Age: Origins had a few announced dates that were missed as well. If they make the date, that would be wonderful, but there's a possibility they won't, based upon Bioware's track record.

I for one am very glad that they have chosen another female voice for this game. Hale's voice is too much bound to ME for me to be able to enjoy it in a so different context as voice for the PC specifically. As it is, I wouldn't mind her voicing NPC's. For me that is quite different.Eshaye wrote...
I'm sort of scared to hear her voice as I'm a huge fan of Jennifer Hale.. I'm having a hard time picturing better voice acting then hers... ;P
/already has her moments cross games with 'but this voice is x! not y!'
