Does Marian Hawke reminds you of Morrigan? Like Sacred Urn Trailer Morrigan?

is that supposed to be a scar?

It's Nutella, obviously.

so it's supposed to be blood? lol. she has one blood stain on her face all the time? lol why does it look like it's on a completely different layer than the character. it's like it's superimposed on top of a picture of hawke.

FemHawke is voiced by Joan Rivers. Calling it now. Bioware's going all out with the talent.

Actually, I'm laughing now.  I didn't think the BW Bazaar Countdown Meter could be trumped for its epic failness, but today proved me wrong.  02-01-2011 = Beta test for a Facebook game and still no LadyHawke.  Someone needs grab a Guinness book of world records and look up epic fail.  This might qualify as a record.

Anyway, back to LadyHawke ...

I've heard Belinda Cornish speculated.  She did Rana Thanoptis (ME) and Goldana (DA:O).  Tries to imagine Vaugn and Goldana as the protagonists for DA:2

She does and is actually very good. Rana Thanoptis from ME2. She was originally from England.

Her other work in DA:O from IMBD  - Goldanna/Sergeant Tanna/Chanter Rosamund/Chanter Farrah/Melora/Redcliffe Werewolf/Circle Tower Apprentice Mage/Eamon Estate Maid/Eamon Estate Undercook

It's pure speculation, but I think it's a good bet.

Well, it Feb and no femHawke, so... apparently there was actually somebody at EA/Bioware/whatever who actually like "NO! You shall not include the female Hawke in any videos! Nobody must know the main character can even possible BE a woman! Women can't be heroes! So says Marketing!"

For some stupid reason I had actually thought a fem Hawke video would be released on the 1st of Feb and Im soo angry with myself cause now Im dealing wih despair and disappointment and I can only console myself by using angry smileys and If I see any posts about Legends or the DA 2 demo I will be forced to poke the eye out off the first person I see... Will just call that person a casualty of war..

I will get over it after I watch the movie Glitter cause nothing can be worse than Mariah Carey trying to act but still its not right but hopefully will get some fem Hawke action soon..Posted Image

I'm going to think positively, and say that Lady Hawke's voice is so much better, much like Jennifer Hale's voice was so vastly superior to the dude's in ME, that is the real reason why they don't want any of us to hear it, as everyone will once again say how much better the female voice is, and the marketing folks who insist that folks cannot comprehend the possibility of playing as either a male or female chracter, are afraid that everyone will focus on Lady Hawke, and no longer realize that male Hawke exists. That is the real reason we're still waiting :) .

I thought that we'd hear her voice before February too. :(

Initially I was amused that Goldana might be FHawke because I thought Hawke would sound nothing like her.

After viewing the Mass Effect clip though, all i can hear is Goldana.

Hmm...Belinda Cornish is married to Mark Meer, lives in Edmonton, AND she was born in London, so she's got connections, is conveniently located, and has an authentic accent.

I'd think she wouldn't sound *exactly* like Goldanna while playing Lady Hawke, though, since Goldanna was meant to be "lower class" and whiny.

Whomever does play Lady Hawke will have to be able to convey the different moods symbolized on the dialogue wheel, so I'm sure they wanted someone with the experience to carry that off.

Well, I'm still disappointed that she's been so excluded from any marketing, but it's been sparse all around. I guess we'll be hearing her when/if the demo is released. That's better than nothing.

Well, look on the bright side. It means that they won't have to fit Lady Hawke into a skin-tight catsuit with cat ears to attract fanboys... :P

Of course there is!! Two words: Kristen. Stewart.

On Topic: I wanna know who's voicing too: I loved Jennifer Hale's voice in ME 2, but to avoid telling my friends "I'm making a Vanguard-- I mean Lady Hawke!!", a new actress would be nice. The Goldanna/Rhana voice isn't too bad. :)

I WANT DETAILS!!

Haha, I think we'd have a good reason to complain if Lady Hawke was inexplicably Orlesian while Male Hawke has the typical Fereldan Human accent.

But if the voice were REALLY terrible, I would have to turn off voices ingame and turn on subtitles.  It would suck not being able to hear any companions whose voices I did like, but I wouldn't want to make myself miserable listening to the main character.

Am I the only person who loved Isolde's voice?
