Stanely Woo, are you just giving us red-herrings?
Or is this really a riddle...
Is it a conspiracy theory?

i really don't know what you're getting at. I'm just here discussing voice acting and Belinda Cornish's voice like everyone else in this thead. I can't help it if some community members are taking my innocent statements out of context or ascribing more meaning to them than I intend.

The answer is John Belushi.  :P  And everyone here is probably too young to get that joke.  =]

Here she is in ME2.

She's Canadian- didn't they say the Hawkes are English?

And... ugh... how can anyone play an entire game of mShep.  I'll never understand.

It can be done, but it breaks about a dozen Amnesty International codes I think.

anyway ...

To get this thing back on topic, who do you think will play Lady Hawke?  Anybody got a clue?  =]

Nobody from the demo can place down Lady Hawke's voice.

My hopes are that she's a very versatile voice actress and that's why.

Lot of Dragon Age Origins character had an interesting voice and the fact that we can't place it. I mean with Male Hawke- it was pretty noticeable.

According to her IMDB she was born and raised in London, England:  http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1424599/

And I hope Stanley Woo is messing with our heads because he knows that we'll be getting more info soon.  We need something to obsess over...

Actually, I'm messing with your heads because I've been crunching fora long time and it's boring around here late at night after my office mates have gone home and I'm stuck here for an extra hour. Really, people should stop believing things I tell them after 6pm. :)

*hugs all around*

I do know Belinda Cornish, though, and I did hear her voice in-game.

Mr. Woo.

You should do something beside teasing the people on the forum.

Like tell us when we're going to hear Lady Hawke?

Or you could play solitaire.

Aww, I think it's funny!  And I know what it's like to be working late hours when everyone else is gone...it can mess with your head.  We should have sympathy.

And he can't tell us anything about the marketing schedule, so riddles will have to do.

That's why you play laser tag when you're by yourself.

And build forts.

Ah but that is what makes it fun. I'm quite glad Mr. Woo decided to turn to this well behaving thread for his late night work breaks.

/we might even trick him into saying some more if we stay nice :-p

Oh goodness. I just barely took a peek at this thread. How delightfully entertaining.

Mr. Woo, you are a hero to the masses of information-starved Bioware fans. Even if absolutely nothing came of it.

Indeed, I seem to remember reading that she is dating Mark Meer actually lol. And either there is a VA out there that did both ME and DA that isn't on IMDB or I can't see anyone else that fits the criteria we have for Lady Hawke's VA: English speaking, appeared in both games. Most of the female actors I found when I listed them were American, Canadian or too old to realistically voice Lady Hawke, the other notable Brit I can remember being Cauthrien's, and she wasn't in ME.

Certainly seems to point to Belinda Cornish, but then I havn't compared her voice with Aveline's closely yet.

Wahhhh  - phooey to having our collective leg pulled!
If Fem Hawke is not Belinda Cornish, might she be another VA we've heard before in Origins?

I hope we get to hear her voice soon. It's not a huge deal, but I'd be disappointed if we get to hear male Hawke's voice (and we did) before release but not female Hawke's. I don't think it would kill DA2's marketing potential to showcase a few lines.

In my frustration over lack of Lady Hawke news, I got proactive. "Not enough LH news for us? Very well. I will make my own. In a sense."

Off-topic? Maybe. Made me feel better? OH YES.
