I've heard very little of MaleHawke's voice - but I wasn't impressed.
I'm really thinking of playing as a female.

Heavyweight?
It's not being hit on. I found Bittercup in FO3 funny and kind of sad, for instance. It's the kind of woman with the fake syrupy thing with a wee touch of condescension in the bargain- like Isabela calling the Warden "sweet thing."Seriously though, I appreciate not wanting to be hit on by some people. I find it odd when waitresses call me 'sweety' and 'darling.' I doubt Isabela will spend the game harassing a FemHawke who isn't interested.
I like Ser Bryant Hawke alright. So long as he never, ever breaks into that Vaughn evil laugh. That would cause PTSD.Tiax Rules All wrote...

I agree with this, I didnt much care for the male Hawke vioce I have heard so far.
I am male but am not opposed to playing female characters either. It most Bioware games I play male first and female second playthrough. I might actually play female first this time though. Default FemHawke is a fox!
What we've heard so far is mainly the deadpan humorous lines I suspect he may sound better angry or serious. My first male Hawke will be an angry bastard I think.Tiax Rules All wrote...

I personally do not, her voice is amazing, but I can only ever here her voice and think of morrigan personally.

If she calls femHawke "Kitten," there had better be a renegade interrupt.
She doesn't call femHawke "kitten".

She is (English, I mean). She sounds good. I like her better than Male Hawke, but that's just my personal preference. I'm sure you'll hear her soon enough.

It's French. It means "strength", or in this context, patience.

I surely hope so, male Hawke sounds like a pompous and overbred fop.

I like thinking you're telling everyone to enter horsejumping contests. Possibly for hints.
