Mr Woo, we wondering if we could ask you to prod and poke some of your colleagues into action. Can they give us *anything* a sound file, a a/v clip, a date? A borked promise? A promise of a promise? Preferably something before the 11th Feb - that is so incredibly far away......
We've been waiting so long! This is officially a S.O.S
Wahhhhhhhh! This is so not the answer I was sincerely hoping for. I see that we cannot twist your arm any further, lest it twist-off altogether.

Well, I only heard when I was playing through my second demo. And it crashed on me 2 times so I gave up after that.(In my first demo there was no voice). I experienced all the options.. The voice has an accent, heavy even (maybe, not sure about that). the voice itself is very soft, Lady Hawke mostly sneers or like spits venom if picked the angry option. The TROLL option is very amused. not sure about the first but its mostly neutral, even? BTW I didnt get far on my second demo, only to the part when you only can pick your name. After that it crashed (I am so picking mage on my first playthrough)
Wow, the game crashed on you that many times at an official exhibition? Yikes, that's not good.
Still though, you're lucky to have seen more than us poor sods sitting at home

To be fair... exhibition hardware tends to get abused in ways hardware should not be abused, so it may not be the software's (ie. game's) fault.

Here's a thought. Next time a dev gets an interview question they are not certain they can answer, just say, "no comment."
That would be the best way to go about getting around 'spoileriffic' type information...or things you don't want to reveal to the masses until a certain point in time.
@Ninotchka .... I'm glad you said it first.

But it's not just about this. I was really, really excited that Bioware was actually going to MARKET Lady Hawke, in the way that they never did for FemShep. I was really excited that we'd come past this thing where female leads had to be hidden so that they don't confuse male gamers into not buying the game. I was seriously excited that Lady Hawke wasn't going to be hidden.
Sigh.

Does the demo have credits? We'd need credits to find out the actress's name. Unless we recognise her, of course.Chris Priestly wrote...

In fact, I'm surprised more games don't market specifically to women, it's a huge untapped populace who likes to game and many just don't know what's out there.
That said, I am not surprised we haven't heard FemHawke's voice yet, as much as I wish otherwise.

It's when we're watching tv and he wants to lay down with his head on my lap. I usually tell him no because he falls asleep and then he starts doing the "C'mon" thing. And I'll give in, because it's not that big a deal. But if he starts snoring, he better watch out!

True that. Though if they need something to take to marketing, how about "your female PC is an asset not a detraction"? Seems pretty simple to me.tigrina wrote...

/Did I just say that? Seems I did!
@Sylvius: I think the chance on having credits in the demo is rather small. So we get to play the 'who is the person behind the voice' game.
