I have 2 side missions one for garrus to find dr.saleon and one to get wrexs armor.
My question is what will happen if i do these what effect does it have any thing like in me2?
What affect will doing characters side missions have?

Garrus: Not much.
Wrex: Will have a bigger impact in ME2, because it gives you certain dialogue choices at a particular stage in ME1.

Garrus: Doesn't really matter.
Wrex: Can be used to keep him alive on Virmire if your Charm/ Intimidate aren't high enough. Doing his quest will give you access to the options even if your C/I aren't high enough.

Tali side quest will have minor dialoge change in the beginning of ME2 if you don't give her the data but nothing important I think.
