Yes. Yes. This absolutely must play during ME3's credits. The lyrics do fit a little. Not that well, really, but I've seen less fitting songs in video game credits. Besides, having songs with lyrics in your game is all the rage these days, look at Red Dead Redemption and BioWare's own Dragon Age 2. There needs to be an organized "Don't Fear the Reaper in ME3" movement, like for the characters.

How do you think the Reapers indoctrinate their victims? Cowbell, that's how.

Really, with the love interest being a really big part of Mass Effect's story, this song fits quite nicely.

They sould put it ME3.......Make it part of the plot. Right before the jump to the final battle starts....Someone plays the song an all the radios(Joker and EDI of course.)....Every ship hears it, even soldier of every race.....And It boost everyones moral and if we win battle every race will talk about the song, each with their own interpitation about what the song ment only to finally say,"That was the song that made people brave enough to fight reapers."

Thread necromancy, I'm seeing this more often than blood magic.

The use of BOC was a funny idea at first but now it's getting annoying with everyone suggesting because another guy suggested it.

But imagine it playing before the final battle.....Image IPB

I'd like to see that at some point. Like Sheppard playing the song in his cabin before the big fight or something. Sure, it would be cheesy, but that's ok.

YES. I thought about this while playing ME2 and every time I hear that song I think about Mass Effect.

Please, Bioware. It has to be in ME3. If you can't find a place for it in the game, put it in one of the trailers.

Hey, it's a good song, and I happen to like it. At least it isn't a bad song. I've definitely heard much worse.

Having recently played Portal 2, and enjoyed the ending song(s), I have been thinking-

Mass Effect, an epic space opera... ended with an actual opera!

I'm just surprised that it hasn't been referenced at all yet in-game

Yeah, that video is what made me want to make a thread about DFtR in ME3. Of course, I then found out there already was such a thread, so I posted here. Great video.

IMO..great song, Damn fine game but they don't belong together. The Reapers of the game are machines hell bent on destroying sentient life throughout the galaxy, Harvesting as they do so...a common sci fi plot. The song, depending on which interpretation you subscribe to, is about either love lost and found again through death or that the circle of life goes on...you know, life and death, we live we die. don't be afraid. Find love where you can and embrace it. ~just sayin~

I agree with the people who said that there would have to be a Mass Effect cover for it.

There's too much confusion,
said the joker to the thief...

It's a shame such an awesome name was ruined by such awful music.

No to having this turd anywhere near the perfection that will be ME3.

Honest opinion.

For the first half of the ending, have a nice calming piano tune. If you stick around for more credits, you get some Don't Fear The Reaper.

Me-262 is the best BOC song, though.
