I can't find several things on my menu bar under the view tab

Generate FaceFX
Preview Line without Generate VO/FaceFX
Preview Line with new Robobrad

I tried to add the "Generate FaceFX Local (DialogEditor)" command to the toolbar, but it's always gray out.

I have already generate a place holder VO. And I can add FaceFX using the only option available on my View menu - Preview Line - however I have to do that on line by line basic.

So anyone know how can I make these option appears on my view menu? Thanks :)

You have to update the registry.

Start > Run > regedit

HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software Bioware > Dragon Age > Toolset > Environment

Right-click New String Value called "FaceFXStudioPath" - D:\\Program Files\\Dragon Age\\tools\\FaceFX

I guess you'll have to create a folder under Common called Environment then put that string in it.

There's another one in the Environment folder too that might be important:

ResourceBuildPath - REG_SZ - D:\\Program Files\\Dragon Age\\tools\\ResourceBuild

Did it, not working. I'm not familiar with editing registry so I can only guess what you're trying to tell me to do. Is this supposed to enable the command in the menu or make it visible? Since my issue right now is I don't have this command on the Tool menu. I'm trying to enable "Generate FaceFX" command so I can use it for my dialogue.

bump, anyone have any idea. I include a screenshot if it helps.

The left one is my actual interface, the right one is the interface I see on the tutorial and I'm supposed to get. The red circle shows what I'm missing. And well, as you can see I'm missing quite a few other items too although the facialFX stands out the most. It feels like I'm not getting the full interface or something.

Yes. you have to edit that registry enty and then the menu option will be added.

There is no other way to get this working. Maybe someone you know knows how to edit registry and might help you

I know how to get into the registry and edit things. I'm just not sure that's all I need. Is this correct?

A bunch of the buttons on my toolset are greyed out as well or just are not functioning at all. If I go to click on them they turn into crosshair like icon and just move the tool bar at the top, so for example there is no way for me to be able to use the snap to grid button which has made it very tedious to create levels without it as I have found no work around.

If you find a way to fix your buttons, let me know! ^_^
