Very trivial question here, but where do you usually prefer to save once you're done playing for the day? Or are you the type who just saves anywhere?

Myself, I almost always save next to the bed in the captain's cabin (or next to the terminal in the same room). No particular reason other than that I think it makes sense. I never save in the middle of missions or on hub worlds unless I'm trying out something and will reload momentarily.

I usually save wherever I happen to be standing at the time, but when I'm done for the day I usually save in the CIC or in the captain's quarters. THE COMMANDER NEEDS A NAP, KIDS.

Sure, trivial, but I like to hear what people do in the game. In ME1, I always saved at the Galaxy Map. In ME2, I always save at the Commander's console next to the map.

Same here. I always save right in the middle of the Captain's Cabin, so that when I log in I can see the entire room.

At the galaxy map for me. I usually fly to my next location exit the map and save so I can jump straight in next time Im on.

I save at the Galaxy Map in ME1.

I usually save in the middle of every mission, and after the end of every mission. This allows me to start any mission I want at any time and not having to play a lot to see the ending of each mission.

This method tends to go over the 50 saves limit, though...

I always save on board the Normandy. When I have to go somewhere quickly I always save before doing any mission on a station/Normandy.

You're not the only one
I usually save in front of the galaxy map or near Joker. I tend to quicksave very often, because I'm really bad with shooters so I don't have to replay everything if something kills me (which happens pretty often)

You're not the only one
I usually save in front of the galaxy map or near Joker. I tend to quicksave very often, because I'm really bad with shooters so I don't have to replay everything if something kills me (which happens pretty often)

I tend to quick save a lot too but mainly since I have unpleasant experience for my games like to crash in important moments.

Before engaging in every mission (before the squad selection screen), so I have saves ready to edit (class/powers/weapons) in case I want to replay a mission at some point.
If I happen to be at the Galaxy Map, then the save is there; if on a hubworld, the save is just before the mission there.
Otherwise it's quicksaves.

I have 2 save games. After years of playing RPG's, especially Japanese one's I learnt. One is before I go somewhere in-case it goes pear shaped the other is the dungeon save. Like before you fight a boss then die in the most horrible way imaginable, at least you have the other save. Which I guess would be at the galaxy map...

You're not the only one

I tend to quick save a lot too but mainly since I have unpleasant experience for my games like to crash in important moments.

Theres nothing worse than beating something difficult and waatching you game crash when you have forgot to quicksave. DAO was my worst ever experience for this.

I find it's better to save during a mission, because then you get an idea of what point you've saved.  Picking out which normandy save is which is a pain.
