I believe it's one of the planets from Mass Effect that you can visit during a side quest. I looked up and noticed that it had a big scar across the face of the planet, and one of the lore explanations in Mass Effect is that perhaps a giant ancient weapon blasted the surface of the planet, and caused it to create that big valley. The moon of Thedas looks suspiciously similar to that planet, although I can't remember what system, area of the Milky Way Galaxy, and the actual name of the planet in Mass Effect is.

It's Klendagon as seen from Presrop: masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/File:PresopScreenshot.jpg

Does that mean Thedas is Presrop? anyone want to go search for Prothean artifacts in Ostagar?

I've been wondering if DA:O is set in the mass effect universe due to the Blood Dragon Armor cross over. Bioware doesn't seem to be the type to just throw such in willy nilly without regard to lore.

How I feel about that, i am unsure. I rather liked independent settings rather than the two being connected.

Well, the woman scientist on Eden Prime does say "thank the Maker!" when you save her and her loony assistant.

Huh. If DA does exist in the ME universe, I haven't seen a crossover like that since the Kilrathi showed up in Britannia. Of course, the Ultima universe was setup in such a way that linking to other universe was easy.

I started pondering the concept after finding out that Stardocks new fantasy game Elemental is set on the home planet of one of the races in Galactic Civilizations II.
