The people who killed the Architect are a bunch of jerks who can't see past their own hatred of darkspawn
Even if you trust the architect, and that is a big if, having a horde of free willed disease carrying monsters running around on the surface is hardly desirable.
Who said they want to go to the surface? For all we know, they just want to live in peace in the Deep Roads, living by themselves and possibly infighting and causing more damage to themselves. I see more pros than cons when it comes to sparing him. I will always help the Architect and no one shall dissuade me from this path
Once again, they rape, torture, and transform the women of other races in order to survive, peace may not be an option in the long run.
i really dont get the reason of siding with the Architect, is he suppose to stop the blight once and for all or do he just end up failing all the time
It seems like he geniunely wants to help, and he may be on to something ("...the deep roads have never been quieter..."), but so far his actions are what caused the fifth blight (the one you deal with personally), the release of the mother, and indirectly lead to a new darkspawn mutation (Children).
Considering that he seems to be a good influence on even the darkspawn though (one of his disciples will actually become a pseudo-folk hero in the epilogue if you spare him), maybe he just needs a bit of time to solve things.
Like I've mentioned before, the women problem is still huge, but I have faith in him, and if he slips up, he'll just get a super-enchanted legendary blade in the back.
