Is it just me or was she just designed for people who want to keep there relation ship from me1. You can have some romance and it does not affect any relationship Shepard might have with someone.

if you have dinner with her (and next day she offers to feed your fish)...and then you don't romance anyone (which includes NOT taking the "flirting" far enough to have your LI's portrait frame face down on your desk) you can then invite her up for stripping, cuddling, and she sits on your lap.

that said...Bio has said it IS flagged in the save that you "romanced" kelly...what comes of it we don't know.

Beat me in by just a minute.  If there are any consequences from 'romancing' Kelly my guess is that they would be less severe than romancing one of the main 6.  Just a guess though.

I dunno, I feel like if you didn't romance anyone but Kelly she'll want something from you in ME3 and it may screw stuff up with your main LI. In the email she sends you after the suicide mish she even call you honey...may just be her being flirty but who knows till ME3 comes out.

Just out of curiosity, and this has nothing to do with my decision whether or not to buy fish on my canon play through (*cough*), at exactly what point in the relationship does it register as a "romance"? Having dinner with her, and thus the fish feeding offer? Or inviting her up later?

IIRC and I'm pretty sure I do the paraphrase of the post I saw was that it recorded her "being up in your cabin".  Now the tricky part is I don't know if this was ever clarified to mean the dinner in the cabin or calling her up via intercom for the dancing.  I wish the forums search didn't suck so or I'd actually bother trying to find that series of posts.  Hopefully someone has them a link saved for you.

I too romanced Liara with Shepard, but she was a bit frustrated with the reception she recieved on Illium and didn't say no to warm and accepting arms.  The reunion during LotSB went smooth through, I'd like to think that they got past any issues it may have caused *fingers crossed*

Did a test playthrough where I had Liara as my LI in ME1, ignored the potentials in ME2, "romanced" Kelly, and then did LotSB. Liara does make a mention of being "cast aside for some floozy" or something to that effect, but you can talk your way out of it, and still invite her back to your cabin for "dinner".

Does a Kelly romance affect the ME1 romance pic? I could have sworn I read somewhere that it doesn't but will be happy to bow to anyone with direct experience.
