Her views on Cerberus honestly don't make any sense to me.  Her personality is not suited for a group like that, but I take that just like I take Liara's super revenge obsession.  It's mostly a plot device, and that same fault is found almost every time when it comes to Cerberus.  Everyone has the same boilerplate reason for being there that really doesn't make sense.

Maybe she doesn't know about Thorian creepers, rachni, and Akuze?

And I think TIM hired her to make Shepard feel better, like Chakwas and Joker obviously were.

There are several.  Even if you disregard the blatant and obvious romantic flirting you have the dinner date, which Kasumi specifically calls a date, a hug, and a culmination of romantic content in your cabin.

The hug and dinner are available for friendship paths as well, but that doesn't mean they aren't romantic scenes when pursuing her romance.

Only a few of the squad romances have an "I love you" and not all have a sex scene either.

Just saying.

I already addressed that I meant romance, not sex, read my other post. I recall no "I love you" or any major romance scene, obviously difficult to implement due to the suicide mission, but if she had a romance, there would be one.

To counter--there was no, "I love you," explcitly said with Kaidan, Ash, or Liara, if I recall. But it was shown that they care. I think the same with Kelly. As a friend, she feeds your fish, gives you advice on teammates, and if you romance her, she gives you a lap dance in an asari dancer outfit.

I don't think wearing the outfit is something you would normally show your boss unless you had some attraction/sexual feelings for them that were reciprocated.

I think you misinterpreted my post. I meant to say as well as not being a romance, she isn't even really cheating in some senses, seeing as she just dances.
Also, she's not registered as an LI, and does not give the paramour achievement. That is not coincidence.

She dances, snuggles with you in bed, and sits on your lap on the couch.  That's more than the other romances get, and you can call the dancing her substitute for the sex scene.

The Paramour achievement is specifically for romancing a squadmate, which Kelly is not.  Regardless of what C-Hud might say about the officialness of Kelly's romance, it is still present and it is still a canon part of the game, hence it is a romance.

You can snuggle and sit with the other ME2 LI's, just not dance. And no that's not more then the other romances, they have actual romantic dialog, and a romantic scene.

The dinner results in romance iirc, unless you already have an LI, I accidently "romanced" her once just cos I wanted my fish fed. :(

You know, I can't help but wonder if Mr. Everman is sitting here, eating popcorn with a smile on his face as we discuss Ms. Chamber's relationship with Shepard.

(Did he write her?)

Sorry I should have quoted the post I was adressing, but with the others there is dialog specifically alluding to this, where as with Kelly it's open to interepretation at best.

I was referring to the cabin romance content.  Kelly has dancing, which can be substituted for the fade-to-black sex scene the others have. (You'll notice Kelly was suspiciously absent from the ship when the sex scenes are coded to trigger anyways...)  So, in the cabin, Kelly has more options than the other LI's.  It's fairly even when considering the entire romance, and if you consider the actual dinner date then Kelly has more.

The other romances don't have dates.  You have one or two romantic conversations then it's sex time.  Kelly's is much better.

How is Kelly's better? Some dialog, hug, fish fed, cabin dance. That is it. And as I said, the SM would make a romance scene difficult, but you can trigger the romance scenes with ME2 LI's after the SM anyway, so why couldn't Kelly have one?

I, personally, am not arguing that Kelly's is better or not, but it is a romance.

The romance scenes (cuddling in bed, lap sitting) are available to all romances, and Kelly has that available to her.

Kelly didn't have a romance scene because she was stolen by the Collectors.  That is why she dances after the SM; that is her romance.

It might also explain why I can't cuddle with either her or Tali.....

Well if her dancing is her "romance" scene, I debate the "all LI's are equal" quote.

It's better to me because I like the progressive build-up of romantic feelings and actually expressing affection.

The other romances all follow the same format.  There's normal conversations, then Shepard has a trigger line that starts the romance, the next convo basically boils down to "Are you sure want to romance me? Yes? Okay, we will have sex later."  and then there's a sex scene followed by cabin access.

Kelly has consistent flirting that builds over multiple conversations and leads to actual displays of affection.  You get to hug her, you get to have an actual date with her, and she seems much more concerned about Shepard's well-being.  It's awesome.

Why Kelly doesn't have a specific scene that fades to black and implies sex does not concern me.  I think it's obvious my Shepard and Kelly are having sex from the context of everything that is shown; I don't need a cheesy scene to tell me in order for it to be official.

I didn't say it is, I said it could be substituted as one if you want it to.  It is the main overtly sexual thing Kelly has to set her apart.

I know you can, but I can't.  I romanced both Kelly and Tali.  Now neither of them will come up to my room.  :'(

Not all are sex-focused. Garrus' starts that way, but definetly doesn't end that way (there isn't even a sex scene), and Tali's seems more focused on her character and fear of leaving the suit then sex, too. Liara's LoTSB romance continuation also isn't sex oriented.
All the new human LI's seemed pretty sex focused, however Jack's not so much.

But whatever, it is a subjective issue, and we can agree to disagree on how good her romance is.

Try talking to her again, then inviting her up, I had a similar problem before.

You can't call Kelly up to your room if you're actively romancing someone else from the ME2 squad.

The issue seems to be that you can't call Tali up.  If you officially broke up with her Kelly's option might return.

Aha! Well Kelly only comes to your room if you flirted with her and had no other ME2 romance. You'll only be able to invite Tali up if you had the bedroom scene with her. You might also need to talk to her in Engineering once following that. (after endgame)

Kelly flirting shouldn't affect that. So might be a bug.

You obviously never bothered romancing her...or understanding her.

Then again, most people don't seem to understand Jack.
