Where exactly?

Well, to correct one 1 thing. I did start in my dress and when I hit the locker to get my armor, I am wearing the exact same thing as I was in the last save from the original game.

Your escaping the facility right?

This is looking like one seriously screwed up console port. Until EA decide to release a patch, theres not much a PS3 owner can legally do, given that Sony intends to sue anyone who makes/sells modchips to allow PS3 owners to do what they want with the hardware they own.
Might have some success using the USB based modchip, getting in and reorganising the game to avoid the comic (which seems to be causing this particular problem), but without a copy of ME2 to test with, I cant say for sure.

Just escaped... and as for when, I don't fully remember. It's been awhile since I played the PC version, but seeing as I'm about to hit Freedom's Progress, I'll see.
Armor Locker... save first then check that out.
Edit: Well the DLC items are there (like Kestrel Armor which is what I was wearing and the Blood Dragon Armor, Collector's Armor, etc) but things bought/earned (like the dress from Casual Wear) are gone. I'll see if it remembers that when I hit the Normandy. Reloading.

@bog
I haven't told you the half of it.
Maybe it's different on the ps3? I'm going to recruit mordin than see if I get my stuff.
I doubt it.

Freedom's Progress, I have the default Pistol and Machine Gun. No Assault Rifle (which is what I picked as my extra) so that's 1 thing. (Not the defaults, that my 3rd choice isn't there. I'll see what's in the Weapon's Locker once I hit the Normandy.)
I'm half tempted to uninstall the Cerberus Network from this, but do I want to do yet another runthrough?)

If it fixes the problem then yeah.
You'll just have to deal with the default choices which is ****ed up.

That will be another time though seeing as I'd have to start totally from scratch again. Meantime let me try and finish this first. I miss my Kassa...

Almost. Miri and Jacob kinda suck starting this high on Insanity.

Where exactly would I go to delete the comic on ps3?
#65
Posté 25 janvier 2011 - 08:04
You'd have to delete the System Save, which means the 25 minute reinstall as well (unless you downloaded it from PSN meaning a 2GB reinstall).

I deleted the part that said dlc and patches

Anything new?

It's just a theory so I can't say whether it would or not (like I said, not trying it right now). Basically the comic is the only "new" thing that wasn't in the original game and I have no idea why they coded it in a NG+. Ok, I know why (so you can reset your decisions) but it's possible it's resetting the save data as well. Again, don't know for certain, just a theory.
The other catch for not having Cerberus Network installed is that the free DLC items that come with it (like Zaeed, some of the armor and weapons) won't be available either. This will really bother me since I like Zaeed, esp. on Insanity. He's been a great addition.
That said, I'm in my dress like I was before (though it's still not unlocked). Also, the only items in my Armory here are the defaults and the DLC.
If you want to experiment, my suggestion would be this.
1) Back up your save game data. The character saves are not copy protected so you can save them on another account on your PS3 or offload it to a USB device. These are located in the Saved Data Utility (PS3).
2) Hey, this might be a little easier as there are 2 save files in the Game Data Utility instead of just 1. One is Game Data, the other is DLC and Patches. Just try deleting the DLC and Patches file (since that's where Cerberus Network is installed). Redownload other DLC items if you were using them.
3) Restart ME2, import your character. You should get the part about "Shepard did everything right. Saving the Citadel, but leaving the Council to die..." (Yes, the original default line Miranda says is there as I played this before Cerberus Network was installed). See if it makes a difference.

Well, try deleting both and see if it makes a difference. If it still says you have to install Cerberus Network, then you may just have to try it as a completely new game.

Kasumi's mission, then Zaeed's so I have my party. Then run through the rest of the game as fast as possible. There will be a dying in the endgame.

Makes sense. Did you get Miranda's default speech (without TIM interrupting her after her first line)?
