Two days past since my first try and still no solution or explanation from Bioware. Tried over and over again with no success. Tech people in Bioware should really try to fix this annoying system error if they actually want to sell dlcs.

EDIT 13/2/11 When I contacted yesterday the EA using live chat i got all my points allocated. You should try that. I took them for my case approx 5-10 minutes. GIve it a shot.

@crusadex Same here. I bought LotSB and Kasumi with points about a week ago using a prepaid MasterCard and had no trouble. Tried to get points Overlord and Alternate Appearances packs over the last couple days, first using my own CC, I got the CSC error message; and today using another prepaid MasterCard: same CSC message.

I wonder if this occurs more frequently if you visit the store more than once.

I am trying to buy BioWare points for a month

Trying to buy for days now, still nothing. Tried live chat support two times, even they couldn't help.



I am having absolutely no problem at any purchases with my paypal account or credit cards at the other web sites. Its obvious that the problem occurs only at Bioware's site. You expect a big game company like Bioware has an active tech crew for their site, but clearly that is not the case. Lots of people are complaining about this problem at the forums for weeks. How hard is it to check and fix it?

I live in the states and have received the same error. I too have tried contacting EA support and have received the same answers as above. Nothing is working and it is frustrating.

Same problem. Can't get using CC or Paypal. CC gives "invalid CSC" and paypal just some random error.

i agree with all of those couldnt buy bioware points just because CSC is not valid. i used debit card.

Bought bioware points succesfully last summer, now it gives me the csc not valid error on any card I try. I tried eastore (uk), paid for 1600 points. It said in the end "your order is being processed", wonder how long will that take.

EDIT: Well that worked, finally got my points 45 minutes after the purchase, though it cost %20 more at £14.99 instead of $20. People could give eastore a go, remember to choose UK flag at the bottom left corner if you are outside US/Canada.

Further EDIT: I am not a happy customer now. Had to deal with lots of headache for a simple transaction, and in the end I ended up paying even more for something which had arguably high price tag for its entertainment value (DLCs). I could just go pirate it you know, possibly dealing same, if not less amount of trouble. One thinks they would make purchasing overpriced DLCs easier than this.

LOL, Bioware/EA doesnt wants my money.
Fail on credit card csc check and paypal is not working as well.

For those who have missed Dragon Age 2: Signature Edition, you gonna have hard time to purchase bioware points to unlock Sebastian character and missions (DLC).

Thumb down for Bioware for this time!

Crusadex and Migrained, I have exactly the same problem as you, but be really careful, that Paypal payment went through for me, removed money from my account, but I didn't get any of my points. I've sent an email to support, also pointing out that their redirect email from Paypal has no slash between com and the rest of the link. Maybe that's the Paypal problem? Pretty retarded if it is.

Aha! Finally got my issue sorted out using LiveChat. And sorted out my issue with LiveChat . Apparently to login to LiveChat you must enter your EMAIL in as your screen name. Then it works.

The person dealing with the problem sounded like an AI a little but was very helpful. I hope they fix this quickly, I want to buy Stolen Memory too but I daren't after all this trouble.

Same problem happen to me when i want to buy BP for ME2 Alternate Appearance Pack 2. Card CSC invalid, and even paypal also cannot get thru.
