If there's something wrong (and obviously it is!) then we can only wait for BW to fix this, and make the purchase possible, like in the old times (couple months ago when I made my last). But indeed this stuff especialy with the credit/debit card can really suck.

same problem, tried two cards, same error with both. I contacted their live chat support, they suggested me to buy the points from eastore.com, but It's much more expensive there!

So I was getting the invalid csc error as well while using Chrome as my browser. Also I'm in the US. Then on a whim I tried using Internet Explorer to purchase the points and the transaction went through fine. I'm currently downloading my dlc. Hope this helps some of ya'll.

Having CSC porblem also with same card I used to buy ME2 DLC before. Changing browsers did not help, I tried both Firefox and IE9. I have been trying for a about a week, since I saw Arrival was released.
This was after I was unable to view the Mass Effect website for about a month because these morons changed the address from http://www.masseffect.com to http://masseffect.bioware.com, but didn't make the old address auto-forward to the new one. Instead you just get a blank page that says 'Hello World' at the top.
Add to that the utter disappointment from Crytek's utter failure with Crysis 2, making it only DX9 and only 32-bit, having no configurable graphics options, it's slew of mulitplayer issues, and the fact that the gold standard for PC games is now just a port of a game clearly made with only consoles in mind has made me very pissed off at EA right now.

Signed. BioWare, please, please fix your site.
I've tried all the "solutions" listed by your support services: clearing the cache, different browsers (3 of 'em), different cards from different banks, etc. I even called my banks to make sure it wasn't the cards or that they'd blocked your site - they say there is no reason you shouldn't be able to charge my cards.
C'mon BioWare! Setting up a site for online payments is not rocket science!

Dear Bioware, I would really love to spend some money with you but you say that my card CSC is invalid, which is not the case. If you can't solve this problem why not sell DLC content through Steam? Never had a problem there.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Having the same issue myself. It's very fustrating.
I tried the EA store work around that i saw in another thread and that just wont work at all. It wont even budge past the main page or allow me to purchase anything at all. I'm tired of this crap.

Signing. I have a Visa debit card, and when I attempted to buy bioware points to get ME2 DLCs it claimed that my csc was invalid. After triple checking everything there, I tried going over to the default "profile > add bioware points" page, which had a different format and a Dragon Age 2 background, at which point it said that the card was not valid and asked me to use a different one.
I know that my card is valid, because Steam and Pandora One are accepting it without question.
I know that it isn't a browser issue because I've tried three of them.
I'm in the US so I doubt that it's a regional error.
Why is bioware refusing to let us give them money?
Currently waiting for live chat... 20 minutes of them claiming that the average wait time is 11 minutes so far, and I'm less than a third of the way through the queue...
After 50 minutes waiting for a live chat, I got the same canned response as Half_Moon on the first page. They have officially lost my business.

I'm with you Suncatcher. In fact this problem seems to me as being ridiculous, I buy everything with my credit card, from games in Steam to airplane tickets, but I don't seem to be able to purchase a couple of Bioware points. Frustrating...
