And that one game that had the blue butt was enough nudity to send Neo conservitives into a frenzy about virtual porn making it into america and corrupting the children witht he ideas of sex and illegal aliens(see what i did thar?)
But i think it's safe to say the reason why we aren't seeing nudity in anymore Bioware games is because EA dosen't want anymore controversey. Publishers in games need to avoid controversey at all cost Ex: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Six_Days_in_Fallujah
So bioware isn't bending over, rather EA is pushing them down. I doubt any of the writers or designers have a problem with putting nudity in there games now. But EA does and would not allow another Nude romance scene no matter how much The writers/ designers wanted it.
You know, that's a common misconception about the awful journalism of Fox News.
Yes, they were utterly wrong--but the thing they were wrong about was that you could have sex with multiple women, whenever you wanted, in whatever way you wanted. They seemed to think (earnestly, mind you) it was a sex simulator. If it
had been a sex simulator, they were partially right in raising attention to it--it was only rated M, while it should have been rated AO. AO games
rarely get attention, because no one buys them, and isn't really a concern. That's why ME was getting so much coverage.
They were
not really objecting to there being sex in the game at all. Many games have had sex in them, and they don't say a word. They simply thought it was graphic pornography. They hadn't
thought they were freaking out over alien side boobies. When they found out they were wrong, they apologized. I have no lost love for them, but you're the one blowing things out of proportion.
And, again, I really hate the "If I don't like something, it's EA's fault! If I like something, it's BioWare's achievement!" sentiment. Playing scapegoat is childish. BioWare is a Big Boy Company, and can own up to their mistakes.
