This is the first I have heard of a date change in Australia. I am checking with the Aus team to find out if this is true or not.
Bump.
So is it true or not?

It'd be very cruel to have Australians pay double the price of the rest of the world and get it weeks late as well. With that much of a release difference, I'm sure any Aussie would have chosen to pre-order it overseas for half the price and get it before the 24th.
Especially rude considering it's too late to cancel and pre-order somewhere else now without losing our pre-order bonuses.
And to the "get a life it's just a game lolol!1" trolls - considering the sheer volume of outrage and entitlement on this forum, I think it's fair to guess what the reaction would be if this were happening to the USA...so let's not go there.

... really, I get ridiculous over this game. I don't even use a mouse mat most of the time! But for DA swag I am easy. Waiting impatiently for my box of action figures to arrive in the mail.

Any news Evil Chris?
I wonder how this effects those of us who ordered from OzGameshop (since I think they are actually in the UK).

We either get a pacific or a european version of games in Australia. We never get the US region version.

Actually, only one person is responsible for our terrible rating system, some Member of Parliament

anything about it. Most people (everyone) do not like what he does.
Not quite that simple, to change the law it requires all states to agree. At present they are trying to get a rating 18. However, like so many things, some bumps (mainly some very conservative politicans in WA, lobbying against it).

What i mean is, for a game to be passed into Australia, all board members from the seven states and territories have to agree on it. Hes the member from SA, and he always dissagrees, and thats how so many games are banned/censored. Or something similar to that.
There is a petition (that i have signed even) for a R18+ rating to be introduced for videogames.

But yes, lack of 18 rating is a problem.
