This is my first time with this Toolset.

I cant get my painted texture to look like it should. All I see i blue/dark-green colour on the level.
I have read the tutorial " http://social.biowar...orial#Texturing " and every other tutorial I can find about painting textures!

But still it does not look good in the Level-editor.

How come?

Any more good step by step tutorial on Painting Textures in level editor?

Sounds like you need to add some lighting. Have you looked at this tutorial:

I have posted a screenshot of my problem in my Album: http://social.biowar...ums/267430/8312

1. I create a exterior level ( Outdoor)

2. It all looks green!! What texture colour do you all have at start on the level at start up? I have seen brown basic texture on some others toolset pictures.

3.I place light (Ambient & Static) and paint texture and I still just have the same weird green colour on my level as I did at start up.I can see what kind of texture I paint BUT NOT the colour from it like brown dirt and so on. Has it to do with some RGB settings or what?

I have no problem making a Interior Level ( Indoor room).

Need help plz.

is that a new level on the picture there? Did you play around with any files? Change any textures? I did somehow (in my editor) while playing around create a texture with the nr 7 on it O.o

Is your Static light white and the Ambient a dark colour?

My first thought is you have your lighting screwed up. Make sure your lights are a shade of grey, not colored.

Static light = white . colour intensity 3

Ambient liight = Dark colour. colour intensity 1

Then I just paint some texture and it looks lite the picture above.

Same thing hapen when I add a new material to palette.

So I still dont get anywhere with this! I feel like a idiot!

(Only thing I can work on now is Indoor levels for now)

Try deleting your .erf, the backup .erf, and hunt down and destroy the directories that contain your .arl files. I searched for *.arl in my BioWare directory under My Documents. This will force a complete and total rebuild of the lighting, which will mean you'll get spammed by missing light-atlas warnings. Really the only thing I can think of since I haven't had this bug myself.

Did not work.
Should I uninstall the toolset? And Install it again?
