Is there a way to change a save to a diffrent profile. My friend got xbox live on a diffrent profile then the one he orginally created with mass effect 1. he does not want to start all over again with ME1 to move saves to ME2 then when 3 comes then to that one. so is there a way to change profile information to another profile? so he can get DLC with his xbox live profile? he does not care about gamerscore

Yes, there is a way and it is quite simple. I did this for ALL the saves I've imported in ME2.
All your friend needs is a memory unit.

My english is bad, I'll try to explain as clear as possible:

- insert the memory unit

- sign into your old profile

- go to system settings - memory - hard drive - games - the game - the save he want to import - copy - chose Memory Unit

- remove the memory unit

- delete the old profile from your HDD

- insert the memory unit

- sign into your new profile

- go to system settings - memory - memory unit - games - the game - the save - copy

Now try to load your "new" saves in ME1, they should be working just fine and you will be able to import them in ME2 without problems.

You can get all the achievements in ME2 using these transferred saves. Only in ME1 they are useless in order to gain achievements.

Hope I helped.

Unless, he's talking about taking a Mass Effect 2 save off of his HDD and transferring it to a new profile, which is normally impossible to do, because of copy protection on the ME2 Xbox 360 saves, but there is a workaround.

And unless your friend's profile is on your HDD, he wont have access to the DLC you bought.

My english is not good but it seems pretty clear to me what he's looking for:

-he played ME1 on a different profile (an old profile)
-he created a character in ME1 he want to import now in ME2 but on a different profile (a new profile).

Same thing happened to me.
It can be solved with the procedure I've suggested above and it is very simple.

hope I understood right.

no he wants to transfer his ME2 compeleted game to a diffrent profile on xbox live. transfering from a non xbox live account to his active xbox live account. He is also prepping for mess effect 3 on his current new xbox live account

no he wants to buy his own DLC but he stated mass effect 1 and 2 before even got xbox live, when creating a xbox live account it would not let him use his old one for some odd reason, this is the only game he dont want to delete and wants to move it

I see, so Demon was right, you want to transfer ME2 saves, not ME1.
I cant help in this case, ME2 saves are impossible to copy even for backup and that pissed off many users.
The only thing I may suggest is to try to PM Demon (the other user who have posted in this thread), and see if he really found a workaround, it seems he did.
