Did you like Ali Hillis' work as Lightning, or was she included in the "absolutely terrible voice acting" of the English language FFXIII? Personally, while I didn't have a qualm with the work she produced, I didn't really feel her voice was a good fit for Lightning. Her performance seemed much more natural for Liara T'Soni, IMHO.

Ok the voices that make my knees buckle and my face flush would definately be Rapheal Sbarge (
) its the raspy quality that does it for me then closely followed by Brandon Keener, Seth Green, Mark Meer and Adam Baldwin and my fave females are definately Jennifer Hale and Liz Sroka...theres also a certain something about Keith Davids voice too =)

Yeah, I don't feel that her voice was right for Lightning at all. She has a bit of a breathy voice, which I feel is perfectly suited to Liara, who is deep down a gentle and caring person, but when it turns to ice, like when you first see her in ME2 (using the same line that Benezia said in ME1), it's pretty chilling.
Lightning, and most of the FFXIII cast I think, suffered from poor writing and poor casting. With perhaps the exception of Sazh...who was the only character I genuinely liked. I would have liked Vanille too, if she wasn't so damn annoying sometimes...
