I know I have seen this before, but how do you make the console enabled.

I know there is some strings that need to be added to the shortcut, culd someone write, or link me to a full guide, Thanks.

Also, from what it seems I need to redo all settings if I do this, because I think I tested this earlier on and it resetted all ingame buttons etc.

If you download Dragon Age Mod Manager from Dragon Age: Nexus, when you run it, you have the option of running the game with the console enabled. So it saves a lot of time. Add a shortcut to the daorgins.exe file in the bin_ship folder. add -enabledeveloperconsole to the end outside of the quotation marks with a space inbetween.

http://dragonagenexu...file.php?id=277 - Dragon Age: Mod Manager if you go down that path.

http://dragonagenexu...ile.php?id=1110 - Make sure you download this since you can't see the console in game without a mod or editing the files.

I found it myself, but thanks for the reply.

Bit stupid console though, it's not like anyone not trying to find the cosole CMD's and how to enable it would stumble over it by accident, so why not have a console that don't make it so you have to ype it without seeing what you write, and also, for me atleast I had to redo the pressing of the enabeling buttons all the time, I just don't understand the creators sometime, if it is'nt bugs in the game, it's pointless things like this, maby they were to lazy  to make an actual UI for this to take place in, otherwise there can't be any reason for the lack of an ingame interface for the console.

Not that Im saying they should focus on things like this, but from all the bugs still in the game, they surely haven't done even the parts they should have.

But I bet they never wanted players to see this, and because of their lack of time, or rather poor patching they released the CMD's so people could get back lost things from bugs.

Get your console interface patching Bioware, that was the best thing ever, just run the game, and it patched everything right away, also in my opinion you should start something like Battle.net that enables chatting between games, might be costly at first, but it will surely pay off in the long run.

Then again when did people ever think about moneygain in the long run, they want to make money as fast as possible, even though that might result in loss of great incomme later on, atleast compared to the competiton (Even if I doubht anyone will beat Bioware in the genre they create games for a long while to come yet.

Ok, thanks, got it working, I still think they should have made more of an effort with this, even though I suppose it wasn't meant for the players from the start, or atleast not for those playing the game and not makeing any mods. Then again it's a very poor console no matter what the reason was.

I actually just want the onsole to be able to get some money back from bugs, as I have bought quite afew books expensive, and after I pay, I got nothing in my Inventory, also as I have played the game about 5 rounds, some areas feels like they ould be skipped as I have gotten very tired of them.
