Seems like a common problem so I'll skip the usuals.  I purhcased 800pts but I tried doing the purchase again thinking it didn't go through the first time so Bioware owes me 1600pt when I only wanted 800 as I've already purchased other DLCs and only need 800 to grab the rest.

Now I tried logging into EA Support but its a no go, page keeps going back to the login page even after logging in.  Anyone else experiencing that problem as well?

Payment via Paypal both times.
Purchase was made about a week ago.
Tried logging into EA Support with Firefox 3.6 and Explorer8.

Same problem, says cannot contact server at ea.support.I'm more than a little upset at them, been trying for two months.Would like a resolution to this, rather than thinking very bad things about ea support.

I'm gonna give them a couple more days to respond before I open a Paypal dispute on the one I want refunded then a couple more days after that before I open a dispute on the other. I don't know if I'll get anything back mind you.

I've got a similar problem. I tried buying 400 bioware points using paypal. The buying part via paypal went fine and dandy, but when my browser tried to return to the bioware page it couldn't load it.

I tried again with similar results, no bioware points but money was withdrawn from my paypal account. I mailed customersupport@ea.com with the two Paypal references in order to either get them oney back or bioware points.

Will keep you updated on how it goes.

Exactly the same as Feroldan, only with 800pts. Couldn't load the page, when backtracked it said i still had the same amount of points as before making the transaction. Definitely £6.19 less in my account.

Some Dev input would be appreciated.

I've got same problem. Purchased 800 bioware points, after confirming transaction with paypal, browser decided that website i was being redirected to is unsafe and messed it up. Tried second time before i checked my paypal account and found out that both transactions have status *completed*. No bioware points credited.

I tried to purchase points using paypal, didn't receive points. Ran the transaction again several hours later and did receive the points. But I've been billed twice. Opened a dispute with paypal and plan to escalate it. My attempts to even find ea support have been less than stellar.

Got the same problem with paypal. I tried to purchase some points last saturday and after I confirmed the payment with paypal i got the "can't connect" message for the "return to shop link". No points went to my BW-Account but money is gone. Not even a single response from ea.

Edit: contacted life-support via chat on ea.support.com and got my problem solved within 15 minutes (5 minutes waiting for the "agent" and 10 minutes till he checked everything and put the points on my account)

Got my problem solved via life chat. First talked to Carol who advised me to try again using different browser. When i pointed out i already paid twice and another attempt successful or not will result in me paying third time she had nothing really to say apart of telling me to contact paypal. That was at 5am Monday. Tried again 36 hrs later at 6:30pm Tuesday and talked to Shane, who was the most helpful. Took him 5 min to credit me with overdue points and asked for confirmation if im sure i want them all.

So it seems its all about who you talk to.

BS. Where are the 1600 points I paid for? Cheers to Garcia from live chat - utterly useless. PayPal dispute in 24 hours. NOT HAPPY.

The return address after clicking the 'Pay Now' button in PayPal is wrong. There is a missing forward-slash ("/") after bioware.com, causing the URL to be invalid. The second time around i noticed it and added that / and instantly got the 560 points.

Still looking for a way to get credit for the 800 points from the first try now, gonna go with the life chat too ;)

You are in PayPal. You click on 'Pay Now' and a new site opens and you get 'Website not found' or something like this. You look at the URL and it is something like:

http://www.bioware.c...mbersAndLetters

but it should be

http://www.bioware.c...mbersAndLetters

(note the / between ".com" and "dl-content"

Does EA support actually exist?
Purchased 1600 bio points via Paypal, transaction completed & paid, but no points.
Several emails to EA.Support without a single reply.
Are they crooks or incompetent?

They may have charged the points against the cerberus content. That is what I found happened to me.

I had this problem a week ago as well. Sent an e-mail to EA customer service, then opened a PayPal dispute after not hearing from EA for a few days. Thanks for the chat link, I'll try it after work and hope everything gets sorted out.

I had exactly the same problem with this - I started a PayPal dispute a month ago and they've just turned it down - no reason given. So I am still out of pocket on 560 points
