Hello!

I very much enjoyed the resemblance between various related characters such as Fergus and Bryce Cousland, Rendon and Nathaniel Howe, Cailan and Alistair Theirin.

I like to stay as close to "the canon" as possible, even if it is in this case self-imposed.

I was wondering whether anyone had taken it upon themselves to try to create a character with such resemblance to their family members in their respective origins? The male human noble or "Aedan Cousland" would be the one I'd be most interested in.

I know AvatarHunter has done a mod for the human origin, not sure about the other's though. The male one can be found here, http://www.dragonage...ile.php?id=1304
If that's what you're looking for.

This is precisely what I was looking for!

I'm not entirely sure if I like what I found, but regardless, thank you very much Neveri.

Well, people aren't clones of other people, so a bit of variation is alright. For my Cousland, I spent some thought on family resemblance, so I gave him his mother's green eyes, and dark hair like his brother. Also, I kind of copied the nose shape of his father and brother, but made it a bit smaller.

For the name, I noticed that most Couslands had Celtic names (Bryce and Fergus, and someone else farther up in history), and then I reasoned that maybe his parents would've started all their sons' names with the same letter, so I looked for Celtic names starting with 'F' and chose Finian. Which means handsome, so I made him... a bit decadently handsome.

After creating him, I had to realize that in-game he looked like Frank Zappa, so I went over him again, went a bit berzerk with the sliders, mixed a bit of Colin Farrell and too much Keanu Reeves in, and then he looked reasonably different from his father and brother (and not TOO handsome, I hate perfect faces!) to be a person of his own:

(He is also a bit vain about the importance of his family and doesn't pass an opportunity to remind people of it, but you haven't heard that from me...)
