This isn't actually a thread telling anyone how ME2 "Sucks" or "was great!". There's been more than enough debating/arguing on that one. But I am curious as to how it breaks down; "ME2 SUX", "ME2 was good" or "You can't criticize ME2 it was perfect" or inbetween there.

If this is the wrong section than I apologize and ask a mod to move it to the correct one.

Parts of ME2 really, really sucked (glitches, planet scanning, etc), but it's at that level of awesome where I can still come back and play it.

if they added more collector based missions and other missions where the whole team was involved, would have been the best western rpg ever

I don't really agree with any of those options. ME 2 has a lot of flaws, but of course it isn't unplayable. Though to say that I still have fun playing it, would be exaggerated too.

Well the 3 choices I gave was just the title of this thread and I thought the 5 choices in the poll better reflected options for the opinions of ME2 overall.

I do think ME2 is fun, it's just less fun for me with those flaws and I find it harder to repeat the game after a while.

not enough options and they seem to be skewed a bit.

personal opinion - it was an awesome game. not perfect (perfection doesn't exist anyways), but it was far better then merely "good".

insert Jokers speech from ME1 beginning here.

doesn't mean that I think that anyone who doesn't agree is a hater. I just think we have different tastes in games.

@mecha tengu - I agree, addl missions with the Collectors involved would have added more towards the threat they represented since more could be shown about them and by extension about the Reapers some was well.

Yeah, I'm not sure any of those options you give quite fit me. ME2 had some flaws, but they were, for me anyway, fairly easy to overlook and it's still an excellent game.

No, it doesn't, but there are it seems more than a few people who feel that way it seems to me. I thought those 5 covered it fairly well, might you have a suggestion then?

Options 2 and 4 seem vaguely similar -- to me, at least. Option 5 is a bit extreme; I would have liked something one step down from that. Perhaps something like: 'Not perfect, but still one of the best games I've ever played'?

How are options 2 & 4 distinctly different? Your poll is flawed, as is Mass Effect 2. But unlike ME2, I'm not sure it's worth playing.

Far from perfect, but ME and ME 2 are still easily the favorites of any games that I've ever played. MW and MW2 following.

Isee what you say, I can only say what I was trying to put as a choice did not come out as intended.

Do you mean MechWarrior or Modern Warfare? If its the former than I agree, if you mean the latter I disagree. Modern Warf. I found to be good, but not that good.

I accidently chose a different option.

I think that ME2 is way too flawed on so many different levels that it makes it unplayable for me. I can't enjoy a game like that.
And being flawed isn't the only reason why I don't like it.

I think ME2 is great and propably the best game I own, gameplay is fun, story is great, it has over 40hours of content to play and it doesnt get boring at any point like Dragon Age / Fallout 3 / New Vegas does, ofc its just my own personal opinion, someone might disagree
