Has anyone an idea how i can get the toolset running???

It keeps telling me unable to connect to database, but the configuration tool sais the connection is working.

would be nice if someone could help me

Follow the steps that are described in the link above, and describe with more details what exactly is the problem. Hopefully someone that know about databases will be able to help you once they know what can be possibly wrong. I have installed the toolset in two different computers and the default install has worked fine. Try re-installing with the default settings on.

the database is on your machine.



it has nothing to do with your internet connection.

i never said that genius

it just can't connect with the database but the configuration tool sais that the connection is valid when i test it.

I never got the toolset working on one installation try. I read the instructions but would get errors. Eventually I just installed the toolset over and over , checking to see if it would work each time. After about 5 tries it did start working flawlessly. I uninstalled dao once due to non toolset problems and reinstalled it. I went through the same thing again on the second install of the toolset.



I don't have a clue about why I had to do it that way or if it will work for you - just passing along what worked for me..
