I'm hoping for a midnight release. It's an 80 mile round trip to get to my game store, though. Lots of coffee and no falling asleep at the wheel. The best thing about being a game fiend: I'm always off of work on Tuesday's.

Woah 80 miles! I once walked many years ago to my game store which was only five miles away. My legs were dead when I got there so now I am relying on having it shipped. If the game ships late anyways it doesn't matter to me because I won't be done with classes till 6 anyways.

Pretty much the only thing that is making time pass by are my classes....it's sad :(

Yeah, lol, I live in a small town. The closest Wal-mart is about 23 miles in two different directions. So, I'm kinda in the middle of Screwedville. Driving it is more than worth it though. I always do midnight releases if they're offered. I'm too impatient.

Work and getting my saves ready for import are the only things keeping me occupied. I tried to stay blissfully unaware until a week ago so the wait wouldn't seem as long. I should have held off a little longer.

I'm pretty sure there's an 80% chance I'll go crazy waiting that long.

Of course, I said that six months ago.

I have to go to work at 3 o'clock the day the game comes out. It's gonna be really hard to put it down and leave that day. I'm thinking of taking the day off.

I'm doing another full playthrough of Origins, Awakening, Golems and Witch Hunt to import it when DA2 comes out. Full as in every possible side-quest done, even though many probably won't matter. ^^

Agreed. It seems to me the time would be easier to deal with if we could get some more info tossed our way, specifically about Merrill or "Anders," but that's just my impatience showing, so pay me no mind.

As for what I'm doing to pass the time, I recently purchased Fallout New Vegas for my 360. Really great game and I've only run into one glitch. Somehow, just a few minutes in, my character got herself stuck between a rock and... a tree. Jumping did nothing, crouching did nothing, so thank the Maker for fast travel! Saved me from having to start over. Yeah, I'm one of those folk who prefer to manually save the game herself by disabling every autosave option. I, uh, didn't yet save 'cos I found myself distracted by the graphics. *is all starry-eyed* Besides, autosave always manages to eff something up, so if I can turn it off, I will; if I can't, gotta suck it in, then!

After FNV, I may play Nehrim on my PC. I hear it's more awesome than Oblivion, so we shall see. Hm, I hear the game also includes some romances, so you know I'll be checking out that thoroughly. Very, very thoroughly. Okay, that last part came out wrong, but you know what I mean. Image IPB

No way and you are still alive? As I remember sidewalks are pretty rare in the US or are you from the UK? ;)

I am spending half the time until release in Japan and then traveling from Japan back to America for spring break from grad school. I will then probably be sleeping A LOT after I get back to America and will just start to feel better and not so tired around the beginning to middle of March. So, basically I will be traveling then in a coma until DA2, haha.

In the meantime I will be driving fast cars all around the world, fighting zombies, leading armies and fighting various foes one on one, being the critical component in many historical conflicts, with a bit of gaming thrown in for good measure.

40 days left? ARGH!!! I'm going to go insane! I'm quiting school for now because I want to take a different education, and can't enroll in one at the time....I should get a job to make time pass faster...

But for now I'm busy completing some Origins saves. Before starting DA 2 I want to have at least 1 Mage, 1 Rogue and 1 Warrior save.

I'm going to the midnight launch here, my Gamestop just about confirmed to me they're doing one. Of course my fiancee has insisted I must bring a friend. So my best friend, Cory, is coming by upon March 7th, and we'll be gaming on NHL 10 or something while I anxiously count down the hours till we leave for the midnight launch. :P My fiancee' worries too much, then tells me I worry too much. Women...

I still need to get through my final DAO run plus Awakening... I just arrived at Orzammar and still have to go deal with the Dalish, the journal says I'm 77% done? LIES!!! I played through the game 3 times already, where I am is more like 50%.

There's still the landsmeet, the Denerim quests, tons of side quests + DLC (just got the ultimate edition so I have to play through EVERYTHING).

Also now I have extra copy of game that I can't give away due to EA's stupid policy.
