So I just cracked open my copy of Dead Space 2, and there it was, the code for the Isaac Clarke armour for DA2. I believe its for the Rogue class. Personally, I probably won't be getting Dragon Age 2 for quite some time, maybe not even until next year. By then it will expire, even if I hadn't lost it yet, so I figure I might as well give it away to somebody else. However, I have one copy, where multiple people want it, so I have to make a friendly competition for everybody. Since I saw everybody moaning in the thread about this whole cross-over promotion thing EA is clearly doing, I thought it'd be funny to see what other people can come up with.

tl;dr - I'm giving away DA2 Isaac Clarke armour code for Xbox/PC

So here's the rules:
I will pick what I find the be the most funny/creative/well-received cross-over item or item set into the Dragon Age universe. So for example the Joining Chalice as Shepard's drinking glass in Mass Effect 3 would not count, but something like having Shepard's armour in DA2 would be fine. You are free to take from anything out there, whether it be a book, movie, tv show, comic, another game, etc, as long as from its from a franchise, and not real life-otherwise it wouldn't be a cross-over. There are no limits to the amount of things you can post, or amount of posts you can make. It ends midnight February 3rd GMT (meaning tranistion from 11:59 PM on the 2nd to 12:00 AM on the 3rd in Britain's/United Kingdom's time zone). The code works on both PC and Xbox 360, but not PS3 (sorry).

This is all about fun, so feel free to post whatever might come into your mind, don't put down somebody else, keep it fairly tasteful, and we'll all get a few good laughs out of this.

Edit: To the moderators, if this does not belong in the DA2 General Discussion forum, would you kindly rather than locking it move it to the off-topic section.

I believe it's a nice idea. Only a question, do we have to post only the name of the item?

I'm pretty sure that if you redeem the code the item will stay in your registered game promotions forever.

Preferably from what franchise it came from so I can look it up if I don't know what it is. If not, thats still okay. This whole thing isn't meant to be a stiff-tie formal competition.

True, but thats not the whole point. When somebody offers you free stuff, you accept it. :P

Yes, this is about fun. You know, 'F' is for friends who do stuff together, U is for you and me? That thing where you laugh and be merry? Happy happy, joy joy? I'll reread the entire thread before I choose to know who did what, so don't worry about somebody coping you or something. Just try for something thats creative or would make others laugh.

I got one. Here's description: After the original Normandy was destroyed, a set of Commander Shepard's armor fell into a vortex and came into the hands of a templar Knight-Commander who thought it was a gift from the Maker. An apostate killed him and took the armor and it came into many hands afterwards. It is heavy armor.

It is known as the commander's armor.

then I go: the three Deathly Hallows, three powerful items , consisting in:
The Elder Wand (mage only) , a willow-tree staff (obviously it can't be a wand in DA) that is almost invincible (bonuses in power spell, magic, willpower, elemental resistance, weakens all enemies).
The Resurrection Ring, that gives the user the possibility to revive his/her allies.
The Cloak of Invisibility, which give an incredible amount of defence to the user.
The one that posseses the three became the Lord of Death, with incredible bonuses.
Taken from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows.

Got another one with the Sword of the Stone.

there was once a legendary sword in a stone that nobody can pull out. It is said to be made of Dragonbone and glows silver. Whoever is said to pull it will be the ruler of all of Thedas.  Gives bonus to strength and attack against dragons

EDIT:  Another one of the one-ring from lord of the rings

Legend says that a taventier king made a one-ring.  The ring was said to be so powerful that he can create an army of Darkspawn and control but he was struck down by the Sword of Grey (sword of Elendil) and the ring was said to have been stolen and passed on many times.  Ring gives bonus to Strength and Magic and Sword of Grey gives bonus to Attack vs Darkspawn and strength bonus.

Alright, there's nothing in the rules saying the crossover has to be gameplay related so...The Gray Cowl of Nocturnal from Oblivion. The individual wearing the cowl becomes the Gray Fox whenever they wear. Now with the structured narrative I want you to imagine that while Varric is telling Cassandra the story of the champion while Hawke is off somewhere and decides to put on the cowl for one reason or another.

*Cowl On Hawke*
Varric: And so that's how the champion enfor-... wait who are we talking about?
Cassandra: I don't know, I don't even know why your here.
Varric: Can I leave?
Cassandra: Yes?...Yes.

*Varric walks outside to a waiting Hawke with the cowl off and they then fistbump so powerfully that everyone up to 20 hectares away is notified*

Templar: It's the searing fistbump of the champion of Kirkwall!
Cassandra: Get Him!

*Angry mob of templars appear in front of Hawke. They stand with arms bared ready to stop him as he slowly puts the cowl back on.*

Hawke: He went that way.

*Hawke loosely gestures to a nearby beggar, Templars give chase Benny Hill scene ensues.*

It is said that long ago, a young man was scarred from a terrible accident leaving a great deal of his face mutilated. Determined to move on with his life without being mocked by the rest of society, he fashioned a mask that allowed him to move unseen. Later he discovered that the magic in which the item was created, allowed him to manipulate the feelings of those around him, and that granted him the respect he desired and the love of a beautiful woman. It is said that once the mask had fulfilled its purpose, the man placed it deep within a cave for it to be discovered by another person who may need it's power.

Phantom's Mask:

The Armor of Snarkyness

An armor said to be made by THE MAKER himself and endowed with HIS essence, it is one fit tor rulers and kings. The glowing red armor makes your hair fall out and endows you with a goatee. It also allows you to become an above-average artist/writer. It's most notable endowment however is that of giving it's wearer the ability to be rude and snarkny (hence the name) to your subjects. It allows you to NOT answer questions by instead saying something that really isn't professional at all. Even simple questions will be deflected with something along the lines of "I don't know where you heard that, but it hasn't been confirmed. Once again your assuming and demanding things like always. Also my policies are great and I am totally not cheapening the land by making inexplicable changes or selling out. Honestly, you suck."

+100 rudeness
+50 Writing ability
+ Free Facial hair
- Head hair

The Armor of Snarkyness is also available cross platform into Mass Effect 3, with the backstory being it was made by an entity the reapers couldn't destroy, but besides that has the same abilities.

LOL

The Living Blade: This ancient sword is unlike anything ever seen before.  It is so old that even the surviving records of Arlathan refer to it as a legendary item.  It is shaped like a longsword, but there's more to it than meets the eye.  The blade looks serrated, with what can only be described as sharp "teeth" on the edges.  But the miracle of the blade is that when the wielder of the Living Blade pulls a small lever attached to the handle of the sword, the blade comes to life!  The teeth start moving and they move around the blade in a circle!  This gives the blade incredible cutting power.  It can dismember hordes of enemies in one fell swoop.  The records from Arlathan say that this blade was found in an ancient tomb from the distant past with armor that could only fit a giant.  The markings of the tomb indicate that the individual wearing the armor came from a great war in the skies and was trapped in Thedas.  On the center of the armor was the engraving of a double-headed eagle.  Also painted on the armor was the image of a wolf's head.  An inscription on the pommel of the Living Blade reads (translated from ancient elvish) "Pro Imperator!"  The phrase seems empower the wielder with an incredible sense of confidence and fervor.  The Living Blade causes causes incredible devastation to the enemies of whomever wields it...

I'll go with some funny stuff......

1. A black lightsaber wielded by Flemeth. Scary stuff. O_O
2. The Ring of Power from LotR. adds 100 points to EVERYTHING!!!
3. Barbershop Emporium DLC, inspired by the films, Barbershop and Barbershop 2. Allows you to tweak your Hawke's beard to your preference. Fun ! :)
4. The Hawkemobile, inspired by the vehicle from the Batman franchise. Includes extra seats for all of Hawke's companions, and includes a very sleek art design, like the infamous blood smear right across the front hood. And its perfect for whenever you need, take that certain romance to a great restaurant, drive across Kirkwall to how Varric, Aveline or even Fenris is doing, or even just kicking some Darkspawn ass. The Hawkemobile !

The lore description. Tevinter legends told about three powerful blood mages, that were brothers. This three, with the help of a powerful Pride demon, created three powerful items. The first, Antioch, created the Elder Wand, a powerful staff that gave the user the power of 10 mages; the second, Cadmus, created the Resurrection Rings, with the power of returning to life the dead, and the third, Ignotus, created a Cloak that gave the user the power to hide from other's eyes. The tree items were linked together by the Demon, giving to the one that possesses all a power beyond that the mortal can obtain.
The three brother howewer, captivated by the possibility of that power, fought amongst them, killing each other. The three weapon scattered in the world, falling in the possession of many men and women who heard the story, and wanted to collect the Hallows. Nobody in the many centuries had reached that goal, and many had fallen on that path, killed by the other travellers that tried to reach them. The number of person who lose their life is so vast that some gave at the items the name of Deathly Hallows, and creatied the title of Lord of Death for the ones who succeds.  The legend is narrated in all Thedas, and there will always be men and women who try to collect the three items to became the Lord of Death.

The Lightsaber

There was said to be a blade made of pure light and to give it's wielder magical abilities. It is said to cut through the hardest of metal. It was wielded by a Templar but was killed by an Apostate and this blade was past on many times and many more were created.
