Sounds like they modeled a nude woman and then added the underwear to the model.

Everyone knows the amount of clothing a female character wears is directly proportional to her battle ability in that less equals more. Two strips of tinsel and a postage stamp of silk is the same armor class as full dragon plate armor +10.

No matter how many body blows and subsequent damage even unto death, that tinsel will survive even the most blooddied of battles.

To quote my avatar from Dark Age of Camelot.. "It is not so much that I vanquish my foes, I must look great doing it!" Draculet Bloodbane 1997.

Thus leading to the question what evil dark power of the netherworld opted out for the body sliders. Humongously large racks are the perfect counter balance to huge broadswords and mage staffs.

But I digress, someone will undoubtedly say "You sir have a unhealthy fixation with the female body in your games" and not comment once on the amount of gore covering said character from vanquishing one overly large sewer rat.

Depends on the Armour.  My chick wore the dragonskin armour n I really didn't see much of a difference then my male pc wearing it except the boobies sticking out lol.  In fact that was the only difference.  I keep hoping someone will make a mod to where armour does have a certain sexiness for the female pcs.

You need to play a Dalish cheerleader. Apparently the only reason Dalish women use weapons is that they have lost the ancient elven art of making pom poms.

To the OP - yes, the first time I noticed the ****** was Morrigan during the ritual scene (my first playthrough was on a male character). Then I noticed it was all the characters. Stuff like this and the huge, melon breasts is why I prefer playing males even though I'm female. The scenes where you end up in your underwear (I'm talking about the Urn and Fort Drakon rather than the sex scenes) are just embarrassing.

The female character models leave a LOT to be desired.

I find the human male models to be worse, if only because there's only one rather muscular/broad shouldered/he-man looking model and everytime I try to play a human male mage it makes me want to kill something.

And don't get me started on male dwarf chins, or elven jaws.

I modded my game to have different underwear because there are stains on the old underwear:sick:. Seriously, I've got 100+ gold, why can't I buy good, clean underwear? I like the big breast because....um....I don't have small ones, so why should my character? I wish you could choose body models though, because I don't think mages should be so voluptuous. But that's just my two cents.

This would be nice, but it would be a lot more work/art resources/money to do so, so I understand why they don't.

I don't really see a problem with voluptuous mages, though.  If anything it makes more sense than a warrior woman.  They wouldn't get in the way of casting spells as much as they would of swinging a sword or pulling back a bow.

They should let our female characters buy chest wraps for the expansion.

Ha, I'd imagine whoever you romanced would be too happy though. Mostly I say I don't like volutuous mages because my first mage was an elf, so all my mages look like that in my mind.

Hey now I got big ones and im the best damn hitter on my softball team. They don't get in the way if anything they probably add more weight and power to my swing. (of course my pc that most resembles me is a 2h)

Now running... thats impossible without a proper bra Image IPB

Well, I lift weights very seriously - I have a big back and wide shoulders and not much boobage to speak of, which is exactly how I like it. The female character model with its pipestem arms and pencil neck feels like a serious downgrade for me. (She has a nicer bum though - I spend way too much time sitting in front of a computer...)

A choice of body models would be great. A woman who spends a lot of time swinging a weapon is going to have some muscle - I resent having to run around in a "porn-star Barbie" body.

The width of shoulders has more to do with testosterone content during development and genetics than it does with musculature. Increasing the side delts can help out somewhat, but most of your shoulder width is bone structure. Most women, literally, can't get very big without modern hormone treatments and/or drugs.

Also, ever see Bruce Lee with a shirt on?

Size is not an indication of strength or martial prowess. That little dude is smaller than me, and he'd kick both of our asses. He looked huge when he's got his shirt off, because his muscles had muscles, but he was tiny.

An average woman training for muscle gain may end up a BIT bigger than the female model, but not a lot.

You're obviously not an average woman in regards to your testosterone and bone structure.

I doubt my testosterone is particularly high - I'm more estrogenic than anything (if I put on fat it all goes below the waist). If I'd never picked up a weight I'd be your classic pear-shape. 20 years of training can make a substantial difference, though. If you're curious I look like this:

http://s111.photobuc...-1.jpg&newest=1

I look fairly normal in clothes (although shirts tend to cut me under the arms, which is pretty annoying).

Anyway, point is, a girl who spends a lot of time swinging a weapon isn't going to have pipestem arms and a neck like the character model. She might not be huge but she'll have some definite muscle tone.

Tone yeah, but probably not a lot of mass.

Honestly, I don't think you look much larger than the character model (remembering that you can resize the neck), other than large... oubliques I think?

My knowledge of body building is basically knowledge of anatomy/physiology I learned a while back so I can't remember muscle names all the time.

Also: [img]....[/ img]

Minus the space.  Or the same thing but with URLs.

I'm lazy and don't like copy pasting.

Edit: I guess I just don't care if the characters have like ripped abs in the sex scenes as that they're mostly wearing things that cover it up.  It kind of bugged me that my male mage did for a little while, then I was just like "Woop, robe."

Lats I think you mean (obliques are the muscles on either side of the waist and can make a person look blocky if overdeveloped. You need them strong for posture and back health, but if they get big it looks ugly).

Resizing the neck helps slightly, but it also thickens it from front to back which gives the character a no-chin look. Not too attractive!

Probably.

One thing that does kind of bother me on the female models (and male for that matter) is that even the massive armor seems like it's a skin tight jumpsuit, particularly on the arms, which results in the arms looking thinner than they are if you're accounting for the armor thickness/space between armor and flesh when you're looking at them.

And I know what you mean about the chinless thing. At least it's better than oblivion's where you either had a weird jagged looking jaw line or a big neck slope.

Not very big.

I was going to originally going to throw up a picture of a female fitness model, but it took me awhile to find one that wasn't nude or obviously on anabolic steroids, but I decided it would be kind of a dick move.

She was a little bigger than Linda Hamilton circa T2, but not very, and I'm not sure Linda Hamilton would fill out leather armor any better than our female PCs.
