Question is in the topic line. I've just backed up my save data to a USB drive as a precaution against these data corruptions that have been going around. Say my data -does- get corrupted and I have to copy the USB file back to my PS3, will I have any problems with obtaining trophies for the game? I plan to playthrough the game at least two more times, so I guess it wouldn't be -too- big of a deal if any problems were to come up, but I'd still like to know.
Can you continue getting trophies if you use a USB save?

Proper PSN trophies will not be affected, but allegedly in-game trophies (found in your personal section on the Normandy) get deleted which is absolutely no big deal to me. What I want to know is if the replacement of a backup actually works after corruption and reinstall

Just tried using the USB save on my other account. Doesn't work. Either wait for the patch or take Chris' advice and restart your game every few hours.
