There are TWO save files. One is copy-protected, the other is not. The one that isn't copy-protected can be saved to a flash drive and many have used to replace the corrupted save. Next time you open up the Save data folder take notice of the two files.

Yes there are two files, one is corrupted one is not, so I will check it at home. But even if it will work, it doesn't solve the problem, I can't hardly imagine to quit playing after 2 hours, to backup game. It is full price game and so MAJOR problem should be solved within max 72 hours.

So I just want to know how long we will have to wait for patch. Now we can asume that there is no patch, and I am afraid that work on patch didn't resolve the problem, because we receive from Bioware no info on progress.

Well i would like to know when the patch comes out because i heard people are having problems with imports. Also i just ran into my first game freeze today, I think all the time ive played it is finally catching up lol. But does remind me, where is the patch?

For all we know, BioWare might as well fix a slew other bugs than just those that they originally announced would get fixed. The NG+ bug requires the game to be completed, for example. There is no 100% confirmation that they've submitted the patch yet to Sony, or then I've missed the announcement.



On the other hand, maybe Sony's approval procedures take longer than expected.

I've been quite busy the past few days I expected that by now the patch would it here but nothing.



Strange, I don't mind waiting, but knowing how long I must wait would be nice?

We deserve to know when the patch is expected to be released! Many have lost up to 40-50 hours of their life due to this bug.

Too many of you speak like playing video games is your job or something.. Like "I don't have time to start playing this game again" seriously, wtf? Video games are for fun, don't forget that.

Aww man.. I'm starting to think they just released those patch notes just to shut us up. Its been over a week now i believe and still no response or nothing. These moderators are some rude mother****ers..

they post on here when they have free time, its not their job to spend all day on here replying to posts. they have addressed this issue and sent out a patch, what more can they tell you?

well i can understand the attitude. People are sick of being beta-testers on their personal systems and time.

lol is this patch still not out? Oh well at least it's not a game breaking bug that will potentially take a huge bowel movement on 30+ of your time..oh wait

If a patch was required to fix a bug that allowed people to download DLC or bonus items for free you bet it would be out and approved in a New York minute, but a patch to allow people who paid for the game to actually play it? yeah, go ahead and file that under 'things to do when we're bored of watching paint dry'

There has been absolutely no urgency or apology over this whole business and the mods and devs are too busy shilling some dummy facebook Dragon Age game over in the DA2 froum to even acknowledge this calamity beyond 'yeah some patch or whatever is coming lol'

they listened to the feedback and made a patch, its up to sony now.

I said i understand i don't condone him/her going off on them. But still after playing through FNV i would have a few choice words for Bethesda. Also they said they working on the patch. There is no evidence to suggest Sony got it even yet.

And you think its difficult to just log for 1 minute and update the people who bought the game?

Actually, the person who wrote the first post in this thread is the comunity coordinator at Bioware, so it IS his job to pay attention to the forums and reply to the posts.

We are not expecting a day by day update, but at least to know an estimate. That is not much...

i think ssj MIGHT be right, i dont think bioware have actually worked on a patch yet, they just said they did to keep the media and gamers quiet and happy.

But this is actually a bug that really does need fixing because it affects the game so badly if it happens. And even if people are backing up there saves, it's still affecting the experiance because your constantly on edge thinking about the bug and having to back up rather than being relaxed and getting 100% engrossed in the game and story.

Folks should just keep in mind that patches take time to make and pass certification.

On the Xbox I once had a patch in certification for several weeks, and that was without any resubmissions.

Generally patch certification is pretty fast but the speed is a bit variable depending on what's being patched, what else is going through cert, if any resubmissions need to occur, etc.



I understand the frustration (I've lost many hundreds of hours from destroyed saves in games I've played over the past couple decades), but please have patience.

The commitment to release a patch was made, and patch notes listed.

It's just a matter of time.
